    Yeah I keep getting DC in middle of PV. and only there.
    I dont have issues anywhere else but as soon as we are about 15% into PV then I dc.
    Such a pain

    For those people who apparently haven't read the thousands of responses on the thousands of threads about DC'ing....


    It's not the server that causes you to DC. It is either something on your computer/network, or one of the many routers that are located in between you and the pwi servers on the internet.

    You do not have a direct connection to the pwi servers, so getting mad at the GM's (who don't actually write code, they are just customer support), is stupid. Blaming the Dev's is stupid. Blaming the servers is stupid.

    10% of the time it's YOUR COMPUTER/ROUTER.
    20% of the time it's YOUR ISP.
    69.5% of the time it's a router or hub that is IN BETWEEN you and the server.
    0.5% of the time it's server mainenance, a DDoS attack, the PWE ISP going down, or very rarely, an actual crash on the servers.

    Hope that clears it up a bit. could someone sticky this ****?

    Open a command prompt and type "tracert *server address*" and hit enter.
    (replace *server address* with one of the following highlighted addresses)....
    Archosaur..........(West) pwiwest4.perfectworld.com
    Lost City............(West) pwigc3.perfectworld.com
    Sanctuary..........(West) pwigc2.perfectworld.com
    Heavens Tear.....(West) pwigc4.perfectworld.com
    Raging Tide.......(East) pwieast3.perfectworld.com

    Dreamweaver....(East) pwieast2.perfectworld.com
