Can a aps barb is better at pvp then stre build barb

Aps on a barb is like making a HA Cleric....or a LA wizzard...hence ---> useless for pvp

But, truth is, at the current state of the game, you can die in 5-8 secs to any Assasin who only needs to pops out of stealth, stun you spark and bai.
So, get your HP up, as higher as you can, then, get at least 65 dex points, get your lvl 11 Blood Bath and do this: Buff yourself, get your HP filled, drop on the pvp place - Violent Triumph-IG (if you have)- Bestial Onslaught ( doesnt matters if sage or demon, both helps)-Tree of Protection-Armageddon = some people dead --> run crazy mad time back to safe zone cuz you will get pwnd by 99999999x sins popping out of stealth <--

This is not what I do of course, I usually dont need to use any pot in pvp unless i fight 3-4+ players at the same time, or might just use the lvl 90 Apothecary Potion which increases your accuracy around 150%-250% so I can just lol at them (incase of an LA opponent)

With the post above I dont agree with, aps barb is very useful in pvp.. IF YOU KNOW HOW TO USE IT. I have some of the servers best geared sins jump on me in pvp, and they can't kill me.
Just takes skill, (coming from a barb with only 17k in tiger form buffed.) b:bye

@Loricus: I dont see how using IG before even getting touched would be of any use. More to add, u put it after VT. So not only ur putting APO on CD, but you'r also putting our only anti-stun skill on CD while getting no effect out of it since when u pop IG u just stand still glowing.

And if you really wanna give advice on pvp, tell him to get DEF leveles, the HP will come out from high refines. 120 less VIT is not changing anything in pvp nowadays.

Why VT + IG 2-3 secs before you drop on the battle field? because these days everyone is running around with either Occult Ice on genies with 100+ Str or Assasins which have sht tload of stun skills, so while they try to kill you or stun you while IG effect is on, you can just blast them away, simple; try to drop in the middle of 3 Assasins, 2 BMs, 2 archers, 4 Wizzards and 1 Cleric without getting either stunned, slept or Sealed, then we talk

And to the matter about defense lvls, 1 vit stone gives you around 130 more physical defense and 60 more magic resistance, hence same damage reduction as 2 defense lvl from 1 JoSD, but you get more HP with a vit stone.

I am a R9 Barbarian with half of my gear sharded on Vit Stones, I have fought R9 Barbs with JoSD and the damage we both dealed on eachother was almost the same (difference on our weapons refines)

And to be honest, aps is completly useless at this moment if your not an Assasin with zerk daggers or a BM with zerk on your claws/fists, other than those, any aps character is completly useless and dies against me in less than 2-3 hits, while they try to tick me dealling around 250-300 damage while sparked, thing only causes me to laugh and even let them poke me abit more before killing them.

I have never tried, but i assume that VT before IG make it so you wont get the immobility stance while under effect. I didnt think of it that way.

@Loricus: i wasnt arguing about VT use, which is fundamental in PVP. I was just saying that using IG before even getting into battle is kinda a waiste. U spend 25% of its use just to land there, and it will run out just after u used ur ninja armageddon. Hence, that will leave u defense less and weaked.


The only way to get some use out of claws and high aps in PVP 1vs1, to me, is just to get chi. If ur in a tigh spot and u maybe have just used invoke, u switch to human, equip -int gear/orns and claws to get back to 3spark fast.

You could also (if possible) pop VT/apo and 3spark, then use OI. With demon BO and 5.0 3sparked is easy to drop enemies.

Again, these are just assumption, cuz is hard that u find some1 willing to tank ur 3spark, but with the mass of r9 junkies we have nowadays it got easier. They think they are godly in that gear, but a good combo can drop em.



If you'r in group PVP, it might get more usefull with enemy that u cant bypass charm on. If some1 can get ur enemy stunlocked u can 3spark trough his charm, that makes things more easy.
