Coloured text removed?

Hey there,

I have been trying to type in coloured text in normal chat for a while now but it isn't working any more (in game this is). Has this been removed in an update?

    This unintended feature was removed ever since the rising tide expansion.

    the colored text issue was a bug that was fixed in RT update, yes. However, I think some people are still able to do it, as a couple weeks ago i saw someone post in a very odd color text. Wish I had thought to capture it. Standardized text colors are much easier to read anyway.

    More than likely, what you saw was the last vestige of the Perfect Horns, which have the ability to get fish e-motes and different colors of text. If you choose to get the Perfect Iron Hammer to open your level 50 Supply Stash, you'll get the Horn in the 65 Stash.

    It wasn't a bug. The game client used to allow you to use color codes in your text, but people were using it to troll too much, so it was removed. There were also Perfect Horns...
    I post in forums. This one and others. That's why I post.

    You're right, i mislabeled it as a bug. It should have been labeled as an exploitable "feature". But let's not mince words.

    Those are perfect horns, as been stated in previous page. Notice the Fish Emotes.

    Obviously its the horns, if you know how to read it says the persons name roaring> ,,, >?? thats obviously not a normal message. I bet u feel stoopid now dont you? lol

    i have no love for horns but i do like the fish emotes, wonder if the devs will make those into a smiley set
