High level gear for a veno

So far I've managed to avoid buying gear on PW and made it work with quest gear/gear people have given to me. But this weekend during the x2 I'm probably going to end up being level 100 or at least close to it. So I'm just wondering what gear you all have experience with on your venos that you think is best? I was considering just using a mix of the Oracle and Acrobatic TT sets but if I'm going to be 100-ish, would it be best to just skip the level 90 stuff and go straight to 99?

So, I guess just post your opinions/advice here. What's the absolute best?

At 90 I got the 90 gear cause I knew I'll be 90 for a while (hard to find FCs and I got kinda inactive at that time) so I could stay long enough to at least amp and purge someone in TW.

At 99 I didn't go farming my 99 gears. I farmed sage amp so when I do hit 100 I can nirvana. At 100 I started nirvanaing and that way I upgraded from TT90 to TT99.

As for what gears: Currently I'l got the r6 top, TT90 pants (for the pdef), TT99 sleeves and boots, the Warsoul of Heaven, Cape of Elite Leather, TT90 gold neck, and map 3 belt. Everything's refined to +3/+5 and sharded with garnets. That works fine for me cause I'm a hybrid. If you're a pure build, I would still get the same gear, just shard it with cits instead of garnets. You'll be losing a lot of pdef.

You still need the TT90 to make TT99, so why not wear it for your 90's?

I have TT 90 top and bottom, sharded with citrines. I still am using TT 80 gold boots but it's sharded with 4 immac citrines. Also I'm using the Sleeves of the Sea Captain with 4 immac citrines as well. I have a Warsoul helm with -6% chan belt and necklace. My cape is a lvl 67 3 star cape that adds speed and something else.....I forgot. I really just go for the channeling (I just have the rank 4 top that adds channeling), since I'm just a casual player and do not PvP. I'm planning to not really change my armor since I don't play as much as others in this game. Why I keep the lower level wrist and boots is probably from the speed boosts. I really enjoy more speed due to my demon fox form .

I have a question that goes with this topic, I think, that no one's mentioned yet. What about weapons?

Back for sure on topic; I have the TT-90 Acrobatic set; except for the sleeves, I still have my Sleeves of the Sea Captain also. I kept those for the channeling Mine's all sharded with citrines, too. Plus, I managed to make myself a 4 socket Cape of Elite Leather; I have a TT belt that I made in my 70's that I wear a lot because it has plus 2xp on it; I also have a couple of different necklaces that I switch off depending on what I am doing; one gives me another plus 2xp; and one has -3 channeling. If I ever hit level 99; I plan on getting the TT-99 set.; including the belt/sash and necklace, unless I run across something that strikes me as better and that I can afford I don't know that it's "the best' or not, but I've had it stuck in my head forever that it was what I was getting, so...lol.

Oh & I have the TT-90 Wheel of Denied Fate right now; and I was planning on getting the TT-99 Fate Denial Godspeed (for the channeling) unless someone has a better suggestion. And I'm a casual player too; so I figured if I get that much; it'll be good enough for how I play.

To reply to your post Simi, I am currently using the Fate Denial: Godspeed. I think this will be my end game weapon because I'm too lazy to farm for anything else. I'm a casual player myself now and it's doing quite well for me

As for the weapon question, yeah I'm using the TT99 gold glaive. If I'm able gonne farm r8 this 2x ;D

Been using the tt99 glaive before too, but mine is +3 with a sapphire gem and still.. rank 8 outdamages it without any refine or shard b:shocked

The most expensive thing for me is the rank, rest isn't that hard to achieve. Protection ornaments but I got a -6% channel necklace and belt to swap out if I need it.
And yea, I picked the wraithgate cape over lunar one. Didn't want to spend an extra 32mil on it lol

I think overall it's not an utopic build lol Or just replace the weapon with tt99 gold and the tt99 with tt90. Even cheaper but not too bad.

Oh and it's probably not perfect for pvp. But I'm a sage pve veno so..ya. lol

Im a lvl 100 veno and I am still using the free armour i received in morai. I am also looking to upgrade but not sure if i want to spend the money on rep for rank gear as of yet.. nor do i know if i want to spend the money on the WS gear either.. still debating.lol Good luck with your search..
