Did the math to let pepole know. what there Gems/Shards are worth/how to make.

    Not sure what is going on here, but what in the heck is costs over 4 billion dollars?

    a g12 stone, such as a drakeflame or an icebourne, you should keep going though
    DOT is 6 drake flames, DOD is 3 DOTs and a JSOD is 3 DODs

    JSOD if you make from garnet shards is 222,549,120,000 coins lol

    60m hardly seems overpriced if you look at it like that.

    8-immaculate
    9-perfect
    10-incomparable
    11-gem (garnet gem)

    Making an average shard out of shabby shards is about 3k cheaper than buying it from the jewelcrafstman straight away.

    Ok fine, or 2 hours if your smart enough to buy avarages, or 15 mins if you use tokens to make flawlesses.

    But STILL
    (if you look further, you'll see that it takes almost 800 days to make a DoD)

    Yeah, don't you wish there was a jewelcraftsman who could cut gems? I've asked for this feature a few times a year ago or so. lol

    Hey, just as an addendum, Flawless shards are much cheaper if you trade Tokens of Luck for them. Granted you can only make garnets, citrines, and sapphires with the tokens--but I think most will agree that they are the most used. So, Kudos on posting (or re-posting as it were) the costs of crafting the shards, but here is a run-down of g7 and up considering token prices:

    1 flawless = 14 tokens

    Tokens run about 10,000 - 10,500 currently on Sanctuary, so that means each flawless is about 143,500 each on average. I'm not saying this is the best price as I have seen lower prices in AH, but its far better than the $915,840 it takes to make the flawless yourself. So from there, the adjusted prices going up:

    These prices really make no sense to me. Is there just a flood of higher gems from packs driving down prices???

    Furthermore, I've seen that with the Token of Best Luck it is possible to trade for Perfect shards. This is highly unwise as the ToBL will always be worth approx 5 million each because 2 can be traded for a big note(sold to npc for $10,000,000). So by the exchange rate, 2 ToBL gets 1 Perfect Citrine or 1 Perfect Garnet. Perfect Sapphires are also tradeable for 1 ToBL. As you can see from the price of flawless, it is MUCH cheaper to make them from flawlesses.

    I do not claim to be an expert on gems or anything, I just wanted to help out anyone who wants to save a little coin. If you know a better price or way of obtaining some of the higher gems, please post them as it will help everyone. I hope this helps b:victory

    But my friend, all is not there. It is essentially the same chart as the OP made. Where do most gems above immaculate come from? Surely people cant be combining to make them...even with flawless prices. Normal market price for most seems well below even the flawless manufacture cost. So my question is: Where do you find the best shards(G8 and up) that allows the price to be as such? b:surrenderb:question
