wizards are not very good for pve in general.. the only farming I do on 2x is my 99 key quests with some friends that will let me leach a run. You really should make other characters if you want to farmYoutube Channel: youtube.com/user/D2VeT/videos?flow=grid&view=0

As usual thks a lot for allways answe Adroit b:thanks
Which classes are good for farming and why? For example, I can kill Aurum Specter`s (lvl 74 I`m lvl 71) with 4 to 5 shots and without being hit (since they are weak against fire) what will be the difference vs another classes?0 -

My Wizard can get up to 1 mln. per day (without 2x drops).
As I play for few hours per day during the workdays, my usual profit is up to 500k.
It is not so big sum as can get level 100 Assassin in FC for heads, but I think, it is enough for me now.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

well, farming end game is all about dps. The money making instances are HH and nv, although I know a few people that also farm lunar and warsong when they are bored. As far as classes go, sins are easily the best farming class in the game.. bms would probably pull in at second with dragons. Archers and barbs that use claws usually don't have too much trouble in pve either. Clerics are not as needed as they used to be, but I haven't had too much trouble finding partieso on my cleric (its nice because you can share gear with your wizard via acct stash with clerics). Every class has their perks, venos can lure + debuff/amp.. mystics have heals + auto res.. we just have the worst perks and are always a last pick (if even picked) when it comes to squads. You can't really pick a worse class for farming than a wizard.
It used to be a squad needed a tank (barb), healer (cleric), and the rest of the squad were just DDs. With the gear available now.. any class an be the tank.. with bloodpaint, aps classes rarely need heals.. which leaves squads looking for 6 DDs. Best DD in game is -int chars.. so for the best chance of getting in squads.. you'll probably want to just go with an aps char. If you are serious about making money, make a sin.. if you don't want to go to the dark side, I'd recommend going with a bm. Those are really your best options, but if you've been itching to make another class.. just make sure its a high aps class

Just so you get an idea.. a friend of mine (very good geared sin) was able to frost a full squad of characters.. and does nv with just one other person. He is able to finish nv runs in 10-15 mins on average, which during double drops is giving you like 6-10U and 2R on average. Multiply that by 2-3 (4-6 runs per hour divided by 2 people) to get the profit per hour a good sin can make. He doesn't really play the other characters much (although I know he does amp the ampable bosses with a few of them).. but it is very reasonable for him to make 20-30m an hour. I don't know how much time you spend to make that 500k-1m a day.. but it won't even come close to comparing what a sin can make.Youtube Channel: youtube.com/user/D2VeT/videos?flow=grid&view=0

__This is why my Wizard at 79 level yet, although I started to play long ago.
__I not said in my message, that I can get more money than 5aps class or
__someone who set his/her catshop per each day.
__I saw how 5aps kill mobs and bosses long ago.
__I don't think, that I will be able to get 8th rank or refine equipment to +7 - +10.
__But I will play at low and middle levels as I do now.
For me it is just game, not work.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

As you say this only works with a well geared APS class so i guess the sin has either 5APS or R9 so there is not much of a need for farming on such a char except you wanna gear your alts.
I also agree that BM would be a good choice if you want to sologrind because you can do pulling and killing by yourself while the wizard still struggles with pulling mobs. But as Adroit already mentioned unfortunately the big coin you get from instances during double drop and not from grinding mobs. But on a BM/psy its also not that bad to do normal mob grinding and even on a wiz it is ok if you choose mobs with elemental advantage and your attack power is high enough.
Since you are ~75 i would suggest to still farm the 2x drops on your wiz unless you are able to lvl a bm/sin ... to a similar lvl because farming on a lvl 20 char doesnt give the same profit like farming on a higher lvl char + your wiz will benefit from 2x exp as well
instancewise i would say TT 1-x or 2-x would be ok to do or you go for mobs with good dragonchest droprates

there is always a reason to keep farming.. the sin I was mentioning earlier has several other chars as well as a second set of gear for pvp (full r9). A sin can tank nv with like +5 refines.. and getting full +10/+11 with jades is quite expensive. Interval is actually relatively cheap compared to the full r9 +10 w/ jades that is now becoming the new standard.. so just being 5.0 or r9 isn't enough nowadays lolYoutube Channel: youtube.com/user/D2VeT/videos?flow=grid&view=0

All true. Playing wiz is hard. People give up on em all the time. AND, then I hear: R9 Psych..."I want a wizard." 102 Sin..."I'm bored as _____!" I hear it all the time and I'm like, "lol, sorry you can't have mine."0 -
If you wanna stay on ur Wizard grab Expel on your Genie and go AoE Chief Assassins (Although if they get a hit in they will hurt you, loads,) but a Wizard can do these preeeetty well if you know how. Although, your probably a little too low for these, so the Seaweed Thieves are probably better options. You'll kill faster than a BM but obviously get hit tonnes more. (I removed BMs from the Chief Assassin scene on my Wizzy).
Else, you could run 1-x's with a Squad (Probably 1-2 is best at that level for a DD). Your Merchanting seems to be going fine, if you can Merchant well enough, you really won't need a Farming Alt. (I'm Merchanting and levelling my BM as a farm alt simply because my shop online times are around 7am-11pm British Hours. So I miss out on a lot of the American Traffic.), and I'm rolling a BM because I'm far too stuck in my Ways to just roll a Fish.
Another Alternative is to park an alt near TT and just open for 50k-100k each time. Simple, but it's probably the same as farming the actual TT![SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] b:victory0 -
Thks a lot for all your answers, and special thks to HarmOwnie and Galox since you actually answer my question.. I know that maybe in the future is the merchant thing do not works for me i will have to roll a BM or a fish to support my wizzy but my actual question was regarding this 2x drops-spirit-exp days... I have two accounts, one is for mech only and the money I m making or I will make there is only for my endgame gear.. R8 or whatever.. I m continuosly buying and selling things so the money I making there is not for right now.. my idea was to try to make some money to afford the equipment i need right now ( - chann and something else) right now my wizzy is hitting very hard and i don t have problems to get into squads for bh s etc. but i m starting to feel the slow channeling issues and in order to buy some -chann gear i will need at least 5 or 6 mill.. that brings me to my original question.. is possible to make at least half of that money with my current lvl? and how? once again thks for your help and support in game b:thanks0

Personally, I wouldn't really bother with -Chan equips at 7x. Sleeves of Sea Captain are great, -6% Chan and cost 100k.~
You could also get the -3% Rep Top which is cheap, and then at 90, Upgrade to the Rank6 Top (still -3% Channelling, costs like 13mil during a sale?) but you need the Rep for R8 Anyways. One of the TT70 Swords has -3% Channel I think, so that puts you at -12%, -3% Ornies are Cheap (Only Advise on one though even in PvE..) so -15%, which is more than enough. Unfortunately, the % of DPS you gain from say -3% Channel compared to -0.05 Int is really small in comparison, enough so that -Chan may not be worth it til Endgame (-30% Chan sounds perfect for me by endgame) Another Example is that when my BM Got lv 90 (-0.20 Int overall), I think it doubled his damage from having no -Int. That is a huge difference, whereas Channelling does not have such a huge impact on overall DPS. Tbh at 7x, I'd personally try and aim for as much Crit as possible (Although Granted, +Crit items are rare at those levels),
Anyways, to get 5mil..
@ Open 100 TT's for 50k Each
@ Run 30-50 TT1-2's in Squad Mode (Should raise about 5mil on average I'd say)
@ Merchant Dragon Orbs (1.6mil-3mil a day easily, well, depending on server ect)
@ Single Grind "Chief Assassin" Monsters on Nightscream Island (via Dreamweaver Port), 250k every hour or so? So like 20 hours of Single-Grinding these?
Only rough estimates sorry, but imo they look almost right.. :P[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] b:victory0 -
On 2x you can team up with your cleric and blademaster buddies and do what is known as Zhenning. Blademasters around your level would be happy to help as they arent quite in the required level range for farming NV and such, and same with clerics! Wizards are perfect for the role because of their Dragons Breath aoe. I'm not sure the best place for zhenning at your level, but i'll give you a basic example. This example is for Spiders at Avalanche Canyon and that area. You'd need to bring a mana charm and maybe mana potions to help conserve your charm, and same for the cleric. The BM would need to bring HP charm and hp potions, for the same reason. You'd get your cleric to set up a BB in a set spot, and you would lure a single spider into the same spot, and you would set up your 'zhen' skill. Then the Blademaster would run around luring the mobs into the AoE's and stunning them, and AoEing them himself, and this will kill lots of mobs at the same time. Dropping likes of High level DQ items (I'm talking spiders not entirely sure about others) and you'll also get a decent amount of EXP also. you can do this for as long as you wish, getting quite a bit of money during 2x . Hope this helped!0
