Helm of Earth: Reset While Wearing Work?

I know it says to take off gear that you are wearing before you restat your person. I had to put my str at 117 to wear my helm, and of course, the helm itself gives str so now I'm at 130. I was wondering if I do a restat while wearing the helm and put my str at 117 if that would work or if I'd completely mess stuff up?

    you are not to restat while wearing gear o.o
    and even if you could... it'd be against the ToS

    you need the stats before the wearing the helm to equip it, the stats on the item wont help to equip it. if you dont have those stats the item turns red, while equipped and is un-used, you dont get any of the armo/hp/stat bonuses from gear that is red-ed out.

    its not against the TOS to do that you just wont be able to use the helmet.

    hm..seems like it would be using the system to gain an unfair advantage.. such as equiping a crit arrow with no bow for the bonus? now it doesn't work to be sure. neither does the helmet idea. but if it did, would that not be trying to use the system to gain an unfair advantage?

    Yes, it would be a glitch exploit and thus against the ToS.

    Can't say I've tested the restat thing, I always thought they wanted you to take everything off so you know exactly what your base stats are and so you don't **** up. I'm not sure that if you had 127 (including the helm stats) that resetting 10 would still keep it available.

    Doesnt work.
    The equip is not carrying itself in PW, that means that for the requirements of the helmet count all boni BUT NOT THE ONES OF THE HELMET.

    Item will simply turn red.

    Crit arrow has no effect unles you fire the actual arrow (aka, with a bow)
