Game Randomly Exits?

Anyone else having issues with their game client randomly minimizing, or completely closing out at random? Also having issues with instant doubleclicks in game(When I single click), and autopathing randomly closing a few seconds after setting up. These issues have only been happening since the skipped maintenance(Go figure b:surrender ) I also have run my safeguards, no virus, spyware or the like are to blame either. These issues happens ONLY with PWI, not with any of the other MMO's I play, or anything else I do on my computer, and the doubleclicking issue as well is not my mouse, as it only occurs when I am in PWI.

    I have this thing happeneing to me EVERY single time I teleport to RT. Ocassionaly in archosaur, but yes client crashes VERY often since the expansion was released. It's realy disturbing.
    Imagine, u take Guild house buffs, teleport to RT for Nirvana run and ur client crashes and buffs go poof! AMAZING, isn't it???

    My game has also been randomly shutting down. No bug report, not just minimizing. It just disappears and I have to restart it.

    Other people in my faction have reported this also.

    Yes, it happened to my boyfriend's sin when he was in the middle of a Nirvana boss, and it happened to me again a little while ago when I was in the middle of zhenning 6 Crystalline Wardens in Burning Heart. And I was tanking them, not my pet.

    It's been going on for a while now. Are they ever dealing with that issue?

    huh, that's odd --- hasn't happened for me yet. i had some trouble getting the game up and running on Linux/Wine after the last game update, but once it's running it stays running.

    i hadf the same issue when i sent a ticket the responded with this:
    I'll be happy to assist you with this. First a test...

    To do this, start the game and then press Ctrl + Alt + Del to bring up the Task Manager. In the processes tab, find elementclient.exe or Game.exe. Right-click on it with your mouse and choose "Set Affinity," then uncheck one of the cores.

    You may have to do this every time you start the game if you cannot set it permanently through any CPU optimizing software that you have installed on your PC.

    Since you are using a multi-core processor, you may have to change the Affinity settings for the processor to run the game better.



    Please note this only applies to PWE's MMO games.

    this worked for me when i unchecked the last core.

    you can send your own ticket with your own DxDiag.txt for results specific to you
    Killing level 80's with a lvl 60 is a lot more fun than killing level 90's with a level 100.
