PK in Warsong/Delta/Gamma

Idk if someone already post this thread but i kinda wanna QQ about this one. I've been in squad for BH warsong/delta or trying to get Gamma on my alts. What bothering me so much is

1. Warsong : an archer in squad just suddenly leave squad and barraged on us while waiting for the incarnation. We don't even know he will do that, 1 afked. He wasted my pills that i got from quiz and ticked 3 ppl's charm and ruining my screenshot moment.

2. Delta : after we done wave 2, a bm suddenly leave squad and stun us before we leave instance then aoed, some ppl died some alive coz he managed to leave instance before his aoe kill him. Happen in some another run too, they just leave and say nothing and PKing everyone. Even to the one that don't want to do it.

3. Gamma : same, after done, someone leave squad then aoed, killed some ppl, then her friend LOLed and say "Its a tradition, we doing this in every gamma run..."

beside, if they want to add kills number on core connect, do it properly on TW or do a real PK or inside proper room at cube. Don't just PK anyone that not even ready for it. Kinda annoying and disgusting.

I wonder if GM can do something to fix this.

um... why are you whitenamed on a PvE server? or are these instances PK enabled for no damn good reason, the way most of the cube is?

They're PK enabled instances.


Doesn't really affect me much... in fact, I'll often use it on my archer to get barrage to stay up, but I can see why OP would be upset about it. Plus, I actually like the 60 second killing spree when I'm in a squad with friends and we wanna **** around.

Its pk enabled. Some people like to kill lol...maybe they did it for pk count...Not much of a problem..... Next time u kill someone....have fun in the game...its not as if ur loosing exp.... Besides world chat QQ after such "deaths" is fun to read.

after killing the boss , i jump off the bridges , when i pop up at the entrance , someone kill me here , then teleport out of warsong b:sweat

I have to admit I find this annoying too. I remember when I first hit 100, I was warned by a friend to be careful about who I squadded with for Warsong BH, because some jerks would kick you out of squad and pk you for fun. So far I have had no issue in Warsong but then again, I only very rarely go with random squads. Delta however, I have had many people leave squad at the end and try to pk everyone. Last time I was ready, I had a feeling it might happen so as the culti boss was dying I was already at the stone lol, and when everyone else was killed I ported out.

Some people might say "oh who cares, it is just a bit of fun and no one loses exp anyway so it doesn't matter." This isn't entirely true. Some of us go into these instances (RB especially) charmed, and we don't exactly want unnecessary ticking of those charms just because someone wants to be a jerk. Also, some people don't pay attention to the fact that you might have said "I need to go dig the cinnabar after we are done" and they hit you hard enough to 1k you, meaning you are kicked out of the instance and can't get your quest done.

Fact of the matter is, there are jerks everywhere in the game so it is going to happen. There is no good reason for these instances to be pk enabled, but PW will never go to the bother of changing it.

About this one, you know he didn't mean to upset you x_x When we squad with him, that whole waiting period of time is turned into PK fest, so that's what he's used to. Usually, I go and sit by myself, and everyone knows I'm not gonna participate in this round, lol.

I don't find it too annoying myself, but then again, I never have a charm, don't use any special buffs, and chi is easy for me to regain, so it's not like I've really lost anything. I could see where it would upset others to be PK'd in there, especially when you're supposed to be in squad and working together, and therefore, not ready for an attack.

I always barrage the squad just for fun. b:chuckle You don't use GAs in there & I lose a lot more charm than them after the squad tries to kill me bk.

i actually love squads that try to kill me/people who try to kill me. I'm always ready with AD lol no reason to be butthurt over it anyway. hell if its a group of friends, one person usually leaves and tries to kill me (and ends up getting his head handed to him bwahaha >;D)

I had this happen to me while in delta bh. After it was done, bm aoe'd all of us. We all lived (albeit one wasted charm tick, but that happens in duels), but bleh, because it happens--at least it didn't happen while we were doing bh.

Same with warsong bh. My fiance and I were poking around at the end. He put HF on me...while I was Retaliated. Guess what happens when BM puts HF on a psy with Retaliation on? Yeah. And I just took the opportunity to not just one-hit him, but it didn't even show in my damage log.

He did get his revenge eventually. We kinda have a Mr. and Mrs. Jones relationship when we're both in a pk environment. Try to kill each other and then...you know the rest. b:chuckle

I wouldn't do it to any randoms though. Because while one can just shrug it off, another can rage on WC and all that.

I shall divide my opinion on this thread in 2 parts...

1.- It seems to me that you are complaining about getting PKed, in a PvE server, while being on PK mode, without any previous warning from the PKer.

Well, if you do not want this to happen again, then don't squad up stranger people while in PK mode... PK mode = free kill for anyone, and them having been in same squad as you just seconds before the PK doesn't change that. I'm sorry if it sounds harsh, but it is how things work here. If the instance is a PK instance... then well... expect the unexpected

2.- It also seems to me that you are asking if our dear GMs can do something about it.

On this, I'll just tell you that the only things GMs can do about it, is laugh. And most likely thats the only thing that will happen. Once again, sorry if it sounds harsh, but it is how things work here.

yeah, see, that's the whole problem. it is a PvE server, so why am i ever --- ever --- forced to go into PK mode at all?

if i could always and every time choose to just not go whitenamed, okay, i'd not have anything to QQ over. but just walking into an instance? hell--OO, that instance is an instance on a PvE server! what's it doing PK enabled for bluenames? if i wanted to risk getting PK'd just because i walked into some random instance, i'd roll on a PvP server and walk into ANY random instance. i rolled PvE specifically to avoid that *****.

and that's why i like the suggestion of a skill to force another player out of PK mode. if they can force me into it by just jumping me at random, then turnabout should be fair play. let me zap 'em into forced-bluename for the next half hour, because i wanna see how much THEY QQ about it!

I actually had this happen to me in BH Metal the other day, the psychic got upset because he got no drops and after we were done he tried to kill me and the archer with his low hitting aoes O.o. I had no clue it was a PK enabled instance so I went "wtf?" then I try it out and end up 2 shotting him... and my archer friend said he didn't even notice him attack xD.

Well, it's fun if you wanna do it for fun, not if they wanna do it because of "getting no drops" or cus they "hate x or y" Those are kinda lame reasons to PK in those instances. What really sucks about it is that if someone gets pissed at the squad and leaves/gets kicked out, they can just **** everyone up during some boss or mob pull.

Problem is they are getting pked while still bluename. Its like if you run cube on a PvE server you can get pked to even if blue named. I think PK in cube is intended tho, as a part of the challenge. But for Warsong or Rebirth it sounds more like lazy developers.

Whining about it of course sounds really silly for people on PvP server. Specially inside instances like Warsong where you dont even loose anything. Getting upset and even "disgusted" just because someone attacks you after a BH to me is just LOL.

But i do understand that people are different. Some players choose a PvE server because they hate the idea of being forced to participate in PvP and PK. They feel really offended when attacked and maybe the idea of PK makes them feel terrified, who knows. Its not just about pots or charms ticks for them, its also getting attacked when not prepared thats upsetting. So i do agree with op, if he/she chooses a PvE server he/she shouldn't have to worry about getting pked or attacked when doing BHs blue named.

lawl what? id see a reasonable QQ moment if they pk'd you and you droped items or lost exp but when you lose nothing so what? deal with it move on and enjoy your day, thats what the instances are designed for (atleast cube, warsong and rebirths pwi got lazy with as usual *hint hint*) and i hate to tell you, but QQ'ing on a PWI forum when its well known pwi doesnt make any advancements as to gameplay but just get updates from PW-CN and implement those here seems kinda pointless to me. wont accomplish anything, ever, period.
