Alot of people is missing the big picture, but im going to try and explain, hopefully it will be good b:thanks
What happens in the forums always stays in the forums
Anyways, the thing is while we're bashing the gms or mods and flaming the forums it really doesnt make a change. First of all the gms can do anything as we all already know, anything we tell the gms or the mods what we feel is important that the devs should know the devs can care less.
Here's the thing, we can flame all we want in the forums and argue about what the devs are doing wrong but the thing is that what ever the GM tells the dev, the dev doesnt care and why is that? because he doesnt have to do anything, he already have people whos taking care of the forums and the devs doesnt need to clean up any mess or even get bothered because what ever happens in the forums stays in the forums, it doesnt go all the way to the DEVS, the devs isnt looking when we're all raging.
What people can do is post letters to the devs and mail the devs about how wrong it is with what their doing atm and let them get a feeling of heck of alot of people's rage.
As long as they dont see or notices what everyone is raging and flaming about their all good and chillin, you have to actually try to show them how it is your self.
"Ofcourse some people will say, why should we bother this much? its the devs job to make us feel better" ofc lol, well thats i how i feel to lol, i really dont want this game to die, and i dont think there are any player who is playing this game atm who wants this game to die, but if you dont want to try n talk to a dev instead then all we can do is sit and play and do nothing about it, because we really cant do anything about it even if we complain in the forums and thats how it has been lately and its really sad.

nice sincere post. prepare for the approaching flame war. ive realized all attempts to justify anything is pointless to this community. everyone believes what s/he wants to and most wont bother listening and trying to see from another perspective. anyways kudos.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Bingo. Nobody listens.
I've said it before... Everyone playing this game, moderating the forums (though, to a lesser extent sometimes), GMing the game (to a greater extent), and the Devs (to an extreme), live in their own little box.
I have tried to get the GM's more involved. It seems as if it is a POLICY now that they have the absolute minimum involvement that they absolutely can, as is a policy that they put the absolute minimum patch notes up, or forgo maint, or completely ignore the playerbase.
This game had potential. I slowly watch that potential slip away... Due to players, GM's, and Devs. That's what pisses me off the most, is knowing that this COULD have been an awesome game, but instead, it's just mediocre at best. Addicting, yes. Wow-inducing, for 5 minutes, maybe. It's slowly turning into Pack World International, and more of a Business than a Game, so... Where is the fun anymore?101 Sage Sin*/Archer

OBT and post-release are the best times to play a F2P game because development is high.
After that, it's just about all cash shop from there.
The CM here is quiet because he's bad for damage control, and because most idiots here expect him to keep answering the same questions over and over. Combined, players get what they get.
In most cases with F2P's especially from foreign countries, it's the development that keeps a strangehold on publishing. This is in complete contrast to the actual PC and console gaming industry where publishers are the ones who foot the money and steer development and publishing both.
Developers, like everyone else, would rather do the least for the most. The F2P industry cannot push it's developers to do what they don't want, and the CM, being publishing, can beg and plead all he likes.
With an understanding of how things work, expectations will be lowered.0 -

If the equation is so fail...
Then why are people still stupid enough to pay money into it?
And it's not about damage control. it has to do with stuff like patch notes, CM should be able to post that. But... It doesn't get done.101 Sage Sin*/Archer

Speculations and assumptions. You cant possibly know what the devs think unless you have a direct contact with them.Naturion - Dreamweaver wrote: »Here's the thing, we can flame all we want in the forums and argue about what the devs are doing wrong but the thing is that what ever the GM tells the dev, the dev doesnt care and why is that? because he doesnt have to do anything, he already have people whos taking care of the forums and the devs doesnt need to clean up any mess or even get bothered because what ever happens in the forums stays in the forums, it doesnt go all the way to the DEVS, the devs isnt looking when we're all raging.
Flaming and raging... you think a company wants to have a conversation with people who rage, QQ, flame? Not really. A majority of the people here who post their rage, QQ, flaming do it in the General Discussion. Is it the appropriate place? No. That's why there is the "Suggestion" section. Providing constructive feedback/criticism might prove better than the overall "omg wth you doing, make this better, take it out now" rage posting.Naturion - Dreamweaver wrote: »What people can do is post letters to the devs and mail the devs about how wrong it is with what their doing atm and let them get a feeling of heck of alot of people's rage.

"Rage" is such a harsh term. Just as worse as QQ. To the devs, its just another unwanted business. You speak of wanting or suggesting direct mailing/emailing to the devs. I hope everyone who would do such treat it as much as being concerned about the game rather than being a discruntle player with a huge chip on their shoulder.
You play the game. There are many things you will like and wont like. But dont expect the things you dont like to change over night. And the constant raging, QQing, etc wont change a thing.
You want to make a suggestion? Post it in the appropriate section of this forum and do it with the mature intent on wanting to maintain a stable playing online game.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
what really causes change, be it good or bad (bad= less GMs/updates for pwi) would be many people who stop charging or charging lessi like potato0

Patch notes are mostly comprised of nothing, or, they don't communicate to frankie what they changed -- if you pay attention to how often they don't know what was changed or wind up surprised. Obviously he wouldn't post "I don't know if they did anything or not". Most of the damage control done in this game has to do with shoddy development and the fact that he's paid to just keep the money rolling.
People are helping steer development, or lack thereof, with their money. Accept it for what it is. It won't change and this is how it works in F2P.0 -

More cash means better gear means more equals signs in between the Eight and capital D. I'm sure you can figure this out.

Yeah...
But, the way it is... It's not fun to start out as a newb. It's not fun to level. It's not fun to dump $1500 into a 'free to play' game for epic endgame gear, so you can get 3 weeks of 'enjoyment' to simply find it's empty and devoid of anything meaningful because half the people run the factions like a business, and the other half are creeps, *******s, jerks, or whatever, and all of the people who played for fun have quit.
I guess... I'm getting tired of trying. b:surrender
I stopped cash shopping a while back. I stopped enjoying the game before then. And I recently quit the game completely, for the third time.
Maybe it's time to actually give the hell up completely on it, and go back to a P2P MMO, where I know for sure, that in 5 years, the game will still be going strong. b:surrender I've watched factions dwindle in membership as people left for other things, and people who stayed are around for one of three things right now: Social Networking, Business training, or being an *******/Drama Entertainment Center on WC.101 Sage Sin*/Archer

Some spend time wasting their breath on the "pay2win" meme, which is moot since you can pay for **** in either F2P or P2P, however, at very least you are getting what you pay for. Free2Play = cash shop development, Pay2Play = content development.
I play in a faction with just my wife and I (and our ton of alts, along with 2 desktops and 4 laptops), and I think one of her cousins just brought an alt in it so he wouldn't get spammed with fac invites. While she wants to try her wiz out in TW since she got him to rank 8, she's gonna notice that other wizards are going to pretty much crush her. I once went through the application process through a prominent faction (over a year and a half ago), and the drama and seriousness surrounding it was far too silly for me to ever be interested in that nonsense again.
There are plenty of people who need factions or need to be noticed or need to be part of the e-peen or in-crowd, but you'll find these problems anywhere you go. There's always someone who wants to be at the top of something, even if the way they got there defies all logical standards.
There's lots of realities about this all to accept, I just play the game and when I don't wanna play, I don't. No point in fussing about it really. They get the picture when they stop getting money. And really they shouldn't with the releases and lack of fixes they've done.0 -

And their overall stock prices kinda paint that picture too. Gradually decreasing stock prices for the past couple of months.
I enjoyed playing in a 190 person faction, but it was mostly lower level players, and was laid back and for fun most of the time. But... Even that... Stopped being fun.
I withheld my little money inputs (basically, $10 every few weeks) when rubberbanding got really bad, and I saved it up, and when rubberbanding went away, I put a bit in.
Now, it's time for them to start fixing stuff, or again, I'll reinstall a P2P MMO, and they can get my $15 a month and I'll be perfectly happy there instead. Hell, several people in the faction I was in whispered me when I said I was quitting and going back to a P2P MMO, and sent me the server/SN of their characters, and said they might be going back as well.
The Chinese Devs might be Communists, but... They gotta fix this, or their stocks are gonna tank, and people are gonna leave for other ventures (both gamers and investors). If I were Frankie, I'd be looking for another company, and sending out Resume's like freaking mad right now. b:surrender101 Sage Sin*/Archer
