    me too... i think we need to define easiest

    when i say it, i mean cheapest and most effective way. a sin with claws is less effective than an archer, meaning a claw archer can get into top factions, where a claw sin is shunned away.


    if we are assuming everyone is using claws and wants to be in top factions

    I kited a little from 1-22. I never had to kite anything from 23-90 or so, except in TW, and that was just fun. I kited a Barb for ~5 minutes and let a cata squad through, which helped us win our TW (he got pissed that I kept stunning him, freezing him, and sealing him, not to mention, charm **** his butt). Cata squad got past him and took out the towers on Path A, all the way to their base, which allowed a second cata to go down B, switch to the A door, and get to their crystal.

    Anyway... I don't see kiting as a major component of playing an archer. Then again... I've always borrowed fists/claws from my BM, so if anything got close enough to me, I would switch, spark, and just punch the life out of it, if sparking was even needed.

    And also... I used Moonlight Bow/Sinister Shooter/The Penetrator/ whatever the other legendary slings/crossbows were from level 22-70, then used Wind and Clouds/Unicorn. So... I was a little OP, and auto attack on Moonlight Bow (mine was 2 socket and +3, I spoiled myself b:surrender) usually was enough to kill whatever mob I was toying with before it got close to me, even if it was 2-4 levels above me. :p

    Because THE ONLY thing that is worth playing in this game is Territory War. And Archer is fun to play with in TW. All you do is stand back and pewpew your epic skills and you can kill Arcanes superfast. I think Archer is the most fun is TW, then Psychic and wizard.

    IMO anyway, as using a close range weapon does nothing to remedy our poor defenses and you can't always burn sparks for single mobs that get to close (lol really).

    But Pve, you should rarely find yourself kiting unless you are soloing a boss. Should be able to kill things decently fast enough to get them before they reach you :o

    As for pvp, kiting is a central component of playing an archer. :|

    Lol just kill it before it hits you, then you wont have to run away from it's carcass, unless you are so offput by it that you must flee in disgust.

    And theres a genie skill..huh..whats it called. Oh, cloud eruption. yeah... Using that you can successfully burn your entire genie to death just to finish off one mob with claws when you could have finished it off with a bow or a close range skill.

    And grinding mobs 8 levels higher nerfs your exp and drops as well I believe, it is best to try to stay within 5 level range.

    It doesn't (See: Every monster in the game with ? for a level), but it does hurt in the long run due to decreased kill speed.

    I just tested this and it appears to be correct, but yes it isn't ideal to grind things that you can not kill quickly without having to GG ones genie and spark just to kill it xD
