Since theres no - int on rank 9 what procs/addons....

Would get you to switch over to rank 9, and make it worth it to you, to go ahead and get the gear etc.

As it is right now it is far more logical to just stay the way everyone seems to want you too, and that is high aps, just so you can get into squads that doesn't really require skill to do. (Delta being a prime example of not needing haxed *** gear/aps/refines to actually complete... provided the dds, etc have half way decent gear/weapon to make sure mobs die before next waves come in.)

Anyways back to the original question, what add-ons/procs would make you get rank 9 on your bm? (With the exception of not adding on - interval to it.) I for one prefer the blades, axes, and even poles that have some real nice proc's on it. (i.e Scarlet scimitar: Shield of chi, Creates a shield that reduces all damage by 20%... also the Monarch Spear: Soul shatter: has a chance to remove all positive buffs of the enemy.)

I think for me to 'justify' even getting rank 9 for even pvp is for the gear to add on a hell of a lot more of a magical resistance, maybe then we will stop getting one-shot bang your dead from Arcanes/archers.

Either way, in my opinion a bms rank 9 gear needs to be made more appealing before I even toy with the idea of getting it on my bm.

    Why not have 2 sets of gear? Aps for PVE and R9 for pvp, if I had the coin that's what I would do. GL to anyone besides a guard or GM one shotting this http://pwcalc.com/2af01f2953adafd3

    ok first lol at the rank9 build with no rank9 ring (your short 5 defence levels)

    2nd and on topic allow multiple rank9 weapons for bms (as honestly once you go rank9 your pretty much axe/fist now and thats just not right as your missing 2 entire weapon trees)

    Spear (soul shatter)

    Fist (-0.1 int just like hh100 no proc)

    Sword (blood venegence)

    Axe (GoF as per normal)

    combining all the procs allows purge, phys damage increase and 2x damage (if you use them in the right order you can get a massive amount of damage more than just a 1 weapon rank9 build)

    Fist is just there for farming/dps same as normal the attack levels on the fist provide a significant damage increase (not enough to match 5aps but you could go 5aps with just the fist if you wanted that option)

    the amusing thing is that all the procs I picked are useful enough that bms would want all 4 weapons, thus meaning we all have to farm like 2billion coin + refines for 4 weapons + 8 g11 shards. Would be alot of revenue for PWI.

    The order in which people get the weapons I think would be the most interesing part, as many bms would go the purging spear first, others would still prefer axes, and some would even go fist, I dont think anyone would get the sword as a first weapon but as a 3rd or 4th its very useful.

    Would rather have Spirit black hole on the spear.

    All rank 9 procs tend to be stage 2 so meh.

    If you changed BM to "an arcane class or a sin" I would consider rank 9.
    Gifs are hard to make work here

    Wow chu, that really is haxed magical defense... but that is assuming that every bm could even afford that... obviously that would take time to farm/get... but nonetheless still pretty cool.

    Though it doesn't seem... very... rational to go there for just the rank 9 armor unless you can get it to +10 or more, and shard it with some decent shards.

    Though what you linked to chu, makes the gear a bit more appealing, but I still say it needs a rework to make it a bit more friendly/appealing from the very get go before I go for rank gear. That +12 you have on the gear just seems way too far off for me to obtain. =x lol
