Skill Leveling Priorities?

im going a high str build atm w/ 30 vit capped.

I am a level 70 almost 71.

I am really struggling with knowing which skills I should level before others.

Below are my skills and their levels.

Staggering Strike = level 9 atm

Battousai = level 5 atm

Stalagstrike = level 5

Darkcloud Bolt = level 4

Heartseeker = level 4

Gemini Slash = level 3

Quid Pro Quo = level 1

Blade Affinity = level 2

Heart Shatter = level 1

Unfetter = level 8

Vortex = level 4

Edged Blur = level 2

Ion Spike = level 2

STANCES AND BUFFS

Northern Sky Waltz = level 5

Parchedblade Dance = level 1

Soulserver Minuet = level 3

Bladed Fervor = level 2

Adrenal Numbness = level 2


Thats all of my skills I excluded rock splitting cleave cuz its a joke of a skill... Other than that please give me some feedback on what skills i need to level up. I know I made a mistake with vortex but I'm loving it even at this level. and at 75 ill be ahead of the game
atleast with vortex.. I still find myself using the usual heartseeker to gemini combo, while using soulserver in duels but i think if i leveled up my other skills it would be so much more fun to be more versatile with my combos. Another combo i've used is voidstep + blade affinity + vortex + mana potion b:victory

(wearing necklace with +3 dex to wear ghoulish sword which is where i get the +11 vit from)

Armads - Lost City

Level 95 seeker here.

Top Priority:
Adrenal Numbness-Max this asap! this is your defense buff, the one that lets you survive.

Bladed Fervor-level 9. This skill at level 9 will give you the max potential you can have from it(i.e. 1% crit, 3 attack levels and 1 defense level) for 15 minutes. One more level just doubles the time. Waste of spirit to do so IMO.

Vortex-Max level you can obtain at any one time. This is your damage dealing, almighty big pull, group mob destruction skill. Once you hit 75, you will gain access to Herb Yuanxiao. Just pop this when you start vortex, and pop it as soon as it cools down. Perma-Vortex ftw.

Mid tier:

Gemini Slash-Personally max this quickly. Great for doing Great damage to groups when you don't have sparks for vortex. Use in combination with Blade Affinity for a quick powerful attack.

Blade Affinity- again personal choice, max this quickly(after Gemini though). This is your Sutra skill. I use this skill so much. Its great for three things.
1. A great Blade Affinity>IonSpike>Gemini Slash combo. This allows for soulsever to proc before gemini slash hits, and deals very good damage quickly.
2. Great for debuffing a boss quickly, Gemini>Heartshatter>Mindshatter
3. My biggest use: Speeding up vortex's channeling. I seem to get interrupted from channeling vortex a good bit on pulls, so i use this as I am running and it solves that problem easily.

Soulsever Minuet-Admittedly I only have this level 8(coin reasons). But I would recommended maxing this when you have the time. Great for adding damage onto the already tremendous Gemini Slash. Plus on bosses the de-buff is almost irreplaceable. -10 attack levels and -10 defense levels allows for the tank to live much longer and the boss to die faster.

Ion Spike- Max last on the medium Priority list. This is a great AOE to use before Gemini Slash. Gives a chance for Soulsever to proc, and (when Maxed) has a 100% chance to reduce metal resistance. Which means that extra damage from Soulsever being activated will be increased.

Low Priority:
The rest. These are not Essential for frost, or other questing. Though if I had to choose: Battousai and Staggering strike next.

Re: Vortex - I'd say leave it at level 1 until you hit 75 and can get Herb Yuanxiao. Until then you might struggle to keep it up constantly but once you get that it becomes a piece of cake.

Adrenal you should definitely max asap.

Personally I maxed Northern Sky Sword and Staggering Strike asap because it is my main PvE combo. I also maxed Gemini Strike asap as it is our highest damaging single use skill so it's useful for PvP.

Other useful things to max: Heartseeker, Parchedblade, Soulsever, Blade Affinity, Unfetter and definitely Blade mastery.

The reason I include Affinity on that list is that once maxed you get a decrease of 80% in channeling. This allows spark + gemini to be almost instantly cast, or a fast Vortex. I solo PV with Bloodpaint and Affinity + Vortex owns.

Most of our skills are quite useful in certain situations - the new Battousai aggro thing might make it more useful for tanking but I've yet to try it so I can't say for sure.
