Rank 8 vs Wep of sages

Right now I have 35k rep on my mystic, and i was wondering if I should shoot for rank 8?

Thing is, I really have had my eye on the beemhoof slicer for a long time because of the -10chan on it..... but rank 8 has better armor and the wep might be better but im not sure.

I want the rank that would give me more channeling, btw.

So what should it be: stay at rank 6, or go for rank8?

    i wouldn't worry about the channeling as much since the rank 8 has a higher damage range. do you have another magic class that is rank 6? if so you can account stash that beamhoof over to them. but i personally think your rank 8 would be the way to go since that -4% channeling you would lose isnt that big of a difference.

    No, I don't have another magic class on this server. This is the first magic class I have on dreamweaver.

    But I thought that rank 6 weps couldn't be stashed. At least that's what one beemhoof slicer said when i clicked on it. Unless they changed it?

    Anyways I guess ill shoot for rank 8, ty for answering.

    i have beemhoof and i can tell you its account stashable. i shared i between my veno and mystic before i got r8 on mystic, which imo its way better than r6. At +10 magic attack difference is about 2.5-3k

    The channeling would be a horrible reason to go with the beamhoof. Sure, it has -10% channeling, but unless I'm mistaken, the r8 top is the only one with -6% channeling, meaning you'll get -12% with the weap and top so more dmg and channeling unless you ecer get a diff top for some reason like if you get nirv or something, but even then the dmg gap is definitely more valuable than -4% channeling. Those pants can easily be replaced by TT90 green or r7 however cause they suck.
