How would you balance stealth?

I think I already said this, but, It's not stealth that's overpowered, it's what happens after stealth that makes them unkillable. Get rid of stealth and you still have to make it through their plethora of buffs, crits, stuns and dps.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I dont think anyone would mind actually, specially not the assassins since most of them are alt chars. Majority of players actually miss PvPing on their mains but they have to go on their sins to avoid getting ganked.
That may be the case on Lost City, but it's different on HL. Not everyone who pks has r9, and moajority of players who have r9 and pvp outside of tw, just come to clear a pvp area, hang around for a minute or two, and then leave unless there's like a small faction war or something.
And I know many people who do not pvp on their end game sins because they find it boring and not challenging at all, and as a result only use the sins as farming alts. Keep in mind these people have other end game chars as well.
I do like the idea of non-stealth zones though. I bet pvp would often be active in such areas xD[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
stealth really isnt hte issue at endgame. sins worked for 103-5 so why not let them have that advantage. all the buffs make them impossible, imo remove deaden or tidal protection. focused mind isnt so bad, but tidal protection makes them invincisin.
and quite a few non r9's try to pvp on harshlands then some sin comes and ruins all the fun.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

Thanks to stealth, sins don't have to work as hard as the other classes to get to those lvls, and they only need to get to those lvls to hide form lower sins. In order for a sin to be able to stealth from 100+ of any other class, they only need to reach 7x, which does not take much work at all.
But I agree with you, some of the other buffs are more annoying, but the way they can use stealth to always prep with them,(including the very annoying and cheap "stealth spark") kinda makes the buffs more op, which is why I think stealth should freeze cooldowns.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
they can hide from 10xs at lvl 70, but they cant do sht really, unless the go all out on a poorly geared AA char. sins are basically archers with half the dph but almost double the dps. if anything, zerk daggers should be removed, stuns should be nerfed (A LITTLE), and 2-3 of the epic buffs (deaden nerves and tidal protection will not be missed by anyone except the sins :P). but all in all, sins are meant to be 1v1 beasts, but not meant to be able to do the work of an entire pt in half the time.0

I would be content if all they did was make it so ANY spark knocks you out of stealth. Seriously bright shining circles of light should not keep someone invisible. If they fixed it so you can't triple spark they can fix it so you can't double or single spark. I'm fine with R9 daggers, I freaking hate getting hit with them, but hey they spent $1000+ so they deserve to roflpwn. They DON'T deserve to double spark in invis and THEN proceed to roflpwn, that's bs in its highest form.
