so... which is best for endgame? i see alot of bms going deicide for endgame, but regicide looks plain sexy. and im sure does more dps and dph. b:surrender
Do you hate me? Good, that makes for an adequate conversation starter.

Not to be obvious but... Regicides are the upgrade of deicides so I'd say they're better.
Throw Striking Dragons in the mix too
Weapon.............................Base Dmg........Average dmg
Striking Dragons...................643-710...........676.5
Deicides...............................498-673...........585.5
Regicides.............................575-778...........676.5
Windpour.............................575-778............676.5
Deicides have the lowest starting base damage but Striking Dragons refine worse (kind of a kick in the balls for people who paid 115mil more for them). At +10 Deicides and Striking Dragons are about the same if you ignore Deicides Soul Infect proc and SDs 4% crit rate or consider them equal trade outs.
Regicides refine as well as Deicides but have the higher base dmg and same procs.
But you asked about which is better endgame. Neither. You are looking at G15s for endgame. Huge base damage and much better refine rate.Seven 100+ characters leveled the hard way. Free to play. Mystic, Psychic, and Wizard left to level. b:victory0 -
Neither, windpour is cheaper to get, don't see any reason to get regicide.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Quick correction to your damage calculations as they are incorrect atm, (Remember TT100 has +143 max physical damage which at +0 refine makes it substantially stronger, and actually outpaces the refine difference of the other G13 weapons even to +12)
Weapon.............................Base Dmg........Average dmg
Striking Dragons...................643-843...........748
Deicides...............................498-673...........585.5
Regicides.............................575-778...........676.5
Windpour.............................575-778............676.50 -

You have to factor in the fact your going to get 2 sockets on the Striking Dragons, whilst you only have a chance to get 2 on Regis
At + 10 with an alright build the attacks are
Striking Ds 6272-7151 avg 6711.5
Regi 1 soc 5952-6807 avg 6379.5
Regi 2 soc 6267-7122 avg 6694.5
+12
Striking Ds 7425-8304 avg 7864.5
Regi 1 soc 7294-8147 avg 7720
Regi 2 soc 7610-8463 - avg 8036.5
So you gotta be luck or get alot of socket stones to make the Regi's viable but even then you got the extra 4% crit rate which I feel nagates the 200 damage difference
TL:DR Striking Dragons > Regicides, they are cheaper and better0 -
You can 2 socket TT99 fists and transfer with chienkuns when you make the nirvana. I bought the 2k socket stones during a sale and the chienkuns on sale and it was very cheap.
Endgame weapon is G15 fist/claws with -int and +20 atk. If you make the TT100 then you will eventually have to buy a nirvana weapon so the 200mil+ you spend on the TT100 will just be wasted. If you get nirvana claws then you can transfer your refine and sockets with chienkun stones, wait for a 50% sale on the chienkuns and you're saving a ton of money compared to getting TT100[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Personally, I'm waiting on R9 claws b:avoid.0

For endgame pvp one hardly uses ones fists anyway except if your talking about 1v1s which I never participate in as I consider only group pvp to be worth my time, hence why im farming towards the rank9 axes.
yeah oke I would love rank9 fists but I doubt the gms would ever make them, and if your talking about g15 weapons for farming I would rather pay for it on a sin as they do significantly more damage with GoF and 5aps than a bm would.0 -

Yeah I'm not holding my breath. I saw in-game (concept?) pics of them and got stuck on the idea. They have no reasons not to make them tho. A lot more BMs will buy R9.
The thought of stating my Sin back to DEX and playing it again for farming came up quite a few dozen times. But since I rarely have the patience to farm for more than a couple of hours, I would never make back the money invested in the gears. Although getting mobs stolen in CoA by Sins have put me pretty close to rage-restating r9. It wouldn't even matter if I don't get much out of CoA since it's once a week, but the "f**k off!" would almost be worth it.0 -

Chose not to include weapon mods for 2 reasons. People would argue the soul infect procs valuability vs. more damage (and hp and vit adds are useful but wont be accounted for when talking about damage calcs). Also, wasn't sure on whether the +142 max damage on Striking Dragons is multiplied by spark. If it is, then it means SDs compete quite well, if not then its almost a useless stat in pve.Seven 100+ characters leveled the hard way. Free to play. it works exactly the same as all other weapon damage increases (Rings, Garnets) in that it directly effects the base weapon damage and thus is multiplied by both ST, Mastery and Spark values.
It provides a very significant increase to your attack damage both sparked and unsparked its actually the only reason SD's hold their own at all compared to the nirvana recasts as that +71.5 average damage is worth alot even with the lower base refine rate, and they completely outclass the decide claw.
Runes work the same way, both the pattack and max pattack ones (of course you have to consider max pattack only effects the top end so its average effect is half the listed value).0 -
G15 > Striking Dragon > G13 > Deicides
If they come out with R9 claws/fists, they better have -int on them.I post in forums. This one and others. That's why I post.0
