I'm completly confused about zhen. So can somone explain to m:
What is Zhen
Where can you zhen
At what level can you go Zhen

did you mean zen, without the "h"? that's to do with cashshopping, spending real money to get stuff in game.

in case you really meant zhen, nobody does that anymore. people like myself occasionally suggest starting that up again on these forums, more as a joke than anything else. that stopped happening before i ever started playing this game.

The formation is more commonly used in FC pulls (~lvl 80+) and rebirth (75+) instead of normal mob groups these days.

What's Zhen or a Zhenning party? -This is an AoE setup used in the later levels. Wizards and Archers have a continuous AoE attack that only stops when they choose to stop it or they run out of mana. Add some people to pull monsters into their range (Barbarians and Blademasters), a Cleric to keep everyone healed, some charms to automatically restore HP/MP, and you have a Zhen squad. These will get you exp a lot faster than regular grinding, but do take note the Charms will cost a lot. Also, remember that going away from your keyboard while your AoE is on isn't allowed and may result in a ban.

Although people would hardly do it these days cause its easier to pay 500k ~ 10 Million for heads in Frost Walk City. Still its do-able as an older method of leveling up, slightly slower but still it works. Tends to be interesting with hypers stones though and you get drops out of it as well.

You could probably also do it with the new Seeker class but I am not sure what level the Seeker gets the 'whirling sword attack? Suppose you could do it with the Mystic but I doubt it. If anyone can find any sort of attack that the Mystic AOEs with update the wiki. Thanks.

o___o I still do that. I like it better than running FC.

i suspect i might too, but where do you find squads? heck, i can't even find a rebirth alpha squad for my lv-49 wizard; i'm afraid to imagine what people would say if i tried asking for a lv65-75 zhenning squad in world chat. those that even knew what the word meant would likely never let me live it down...

I remember once my (evil) girlfriend and I were doing 2-person AOE grinding on Pirates, while nearby a 6-person Zhen squad was working, and I couldn't help but notice that they didn't seem to actually be killing any more mobs than we were.

The two lures seemed to be pulling roughly the same number of mobs as me and my girlfriend's Herc were. They were able to kill them faster once lured, but we were only splitting the XP 2 ways instead of 6, so I still suspect we were getting more XP than they were.

I found zhening in a duo, or just being the puller in some way fairly "fun", mainly on my BM anyway especially in a duo with a cleric, the cash was actually quite good and exp was nice, if BMs and clerics were to do a duo at least, with x12 hypers on, I'm sure they would see the exp will be quite heavy and you will make pretty much a large sum of the cash back within the hour if done right.
