I was just noticing that there was some - umm - disappointment recently about the choice of sales (first pack sales, then crafting sales), so I was wondering, what sale would you want to have. Something that you think will benefit you, and the PW community.

I would create a poll but there's too many possible sales, not to mention combinations, like Rep + Dragon Orbs sales at one point of time.

Do share your views! :D

    Charms, which will be after the maintenance if i understood correctly and marriage pack sale wouldn`t hurt either, rest is just kinda useless, at least for me b:chuckle

    Nothing is ever free. No matter what they claim. Wanting them to fix the game and have zero sales is impossible. The costs of programming and backstage tweaking is very costly. I know because I was in a programming business before.

    @everyone else, just share what sale YOU want. I never asked for a consensus. Everyone would want something different. I'm more interested in the reasoning behind each suggestion.

    i'd like there to be just ONE sale on at a time. charms OR crafting, OR dyes, these being exclusive-or's. lower the price of just ONE thing, or at most one category of things, at a time.

    which of course will mean packs, always and forever, because they can't bring themselves to admit their "sale" price on packs is in fact THE price of packs now. but i can live with that.

    People say that in order to fix bugs the company needs $$, well that's true. But don't you think that PWI already made a lot of sales that brought to the company a lot of money, and if we look at the stuff they fixed in the last....let's say since genesis was out, no major issues were fixed, like mystic's absorb soul skill...it still hits in AD..through plume shell and so on...how hard fixing that bug could be? Renaming mobs and changing instance timers are not bug fixing in comparison to the money PWI makes, I'm sorry.

    I agree with this, they should fix bugs and not sit in their chairs doing nothing while the money keeps rolling in...

    Correct, we don't need more fillers (Phoenix Valley for example) and those crazy sales so much... A good company thinks of its playerbase, tries to give true novelty from time to time (I am not complaining at the new stuff expansion offered though, even if well... that's still quite light and incomplete somehow) and corrects in-game bugs quite often.

    Even if we were to be given a 'Sorry, your suggestion is not good enough because of (reason)' or 'this problem is more complex than you think, but we will do our best to correct this, and it's no empty promise', that would already be some great feedback. Yes, GMs and devs, the playerbase is still waiting for more positive changes. Don't turn your back on them.

    Profits? it costs to make pixel items? as long as there's **** in the cash shop to buy, then there making a profit all the time as long as the game is up, a sale is just an attempt to sell "more" of the item in an attempt to make a bigger profit then normal, in which most cases, they do.

    tip for PWE, future featured video: walkthrough of one of the computing centers / colocation facilities, with some details of the servers involved. maybe an estimate of power usage and A/C capacity needed, perhaps some footage of a test run of the standby generator(s). i'm pretty sure it'd look impressive.

    In reality... Fix game = biggest thing I've always wanted. I said I wouldn't put money into this game again until rubberbanding got fixed. It went away, and I bought prepaid cards again.
