    Well that depends.

If it's just items you're trading, then it's technically allowed. By "technically", I mean that you can do it but if you get scammed and lose everything, that's all on you.

If you're talking about trading account information, such as usernames and passwords, then that is bannable.

    This is correct-o.

Just be careful with those server to server trades, as they often do not go as planned :\

    Agreed.

Personally, I would suggest you simply start afresh, and keep your old gear/coins on your original server. If you make a friend on both, and get some trust, then I suggest you think about a trade. Otherwise, I suggest avoiding this...

    100 Demon BM*/Barb

    94 Sage Veno

And a handful of other alts, all 79 and under.

Correct me if I am wrong but...

Since we are now allowed to multiclient, you could just log both chars on each server and do the trades that way.

Eh I would not recommend doing that, the odds of a random person paying out on the other server is low. Just get a good friend who plays on both and have him do it.

Actually now when its allowed to have 2 multiclients on, it is more easy to done.. Both you and the person you wanna trade are gonna be logged on the both servers at the same time.. And i actually did transfer ~15mil coins from one to another server.. But not all at once, we traded 100k by 100k coins b:chuckle so if even s/he scams you, it wont be who know how much.. (it did take bit longer, but it was a safe trade)

doesn't matter how many accounts you can log in, someone still has to go first without receiving anything in return at the exact same time.

How does one "trade items and coin" over to another server, exactly? Sorry if it's a nub question, I just don't understand how it's done. b:surrender

There is no "real" way to do it. Basically you just make a normal trade on one server and another on the other server.

you trade items across servers by finding somebody on the one server who wants what you have, who also has an account on the other server where they're willing to give you what you ask for it.

yes, you have to trust that person quite strongly to actually live up to their promise. if they don't, the GMs will flatly ignore any complaints you may have.

although, since you CAN multiclient now... you could simply start both trades at once, and make use of the fact that the trade window has a two-stage accept system. just don't go past the first stage until both trade windows show what you want to see.

Well, it's still possible that the other party won't accept the final confirmation.

But that can be avoided by splitting the trades to small amounts. Anyone who plans to scam you probably won't agree to that since it wouldn't be worth the bad publicity, leaving only the actually willing people and the few dumbasses who will do anything for 100,000 coins.

It's something that I've done successfuly before. Someone on Raging Tide WC'd that they'd trade a Misty Forest Ring for coins on another server. I'd previously played on that server and had no plans to use any of the coin that those characters had and could use the Misty Forest Ring on RT. So, I contacted them, they gave me the ring and then I handed over the coin on the other server.

Of course, it is something that a person could easily get scammed over. Had I not been such an honest and trustworthy person (insert smilie with a halo b:chuckle ) I could have just traded the ring and not handed over the coin on the other server. However, I would hope that the other person would be smart enough to have taken screen shots and ticketed the incident had I not seen the deal through. It's certainly what I would have done!

The best way to do it is to sell the items on the server your moving from. Contact one of the heavy cash shoppers on your server and tell them that you will pay gold price + 200k ea for gold on the server you're moving too.

    Hi there! b:cute
I talked to someone who was buying mass DQ items last week, and asked him why, and it was his way to transfer some cash or items from one server to another, and I actually liked that idea so I'd thought I'd pass it around!
With the DP you can send some nice start-up stuff to the other 'new' server for you and you didnt loose all the cash but got some nice items for it in return!
