I know my way around frost, have an 8x sin. Well recently I just made a wizard and wanted to skip the noobish lvls. I was lvl 15 me and my friend (she's lvl 15) bought some heads. We hit them but got no exp. The mobs were strill in the room, this have anything to do with it? I wanna try buying heads again, this time, we're both lvl 28. Will it work? Any tips? Thanks.b:victory

I would answer your question, but first...

.. why in god's name are you buying heads at such low levels? Is it really that hard to do some short and easy quests, make some coin instead of spending it (which you could then use to buy heads at later levels, oh snap) and save up some DQ points, too?

I know I can lvl it up easily but I rather not spend several hours doing so. I play for about an hour a day, and try to keep up with my sin's BH. If I can afford to lvl up faster buy paying and not using alot of time, why not? I'm not asking you to judge the way I play, all I ask is a question. Thank you.

Were you able to do enough damage to actually kill the heads?

if people are 60 and under, go to the EG area, and pick up the quests down there. you will level like crazy! i have never seen, with any of the races PWI has had, any that level as fast as these EGs do! and the neat thing is that other races get to do quests down there too!

You did not hit hard enough to kill the heads. Not really sure what level you need to be able to 1 shot them, should probably wait to level 60 or so to be safe. If your friend is a mele class or uses a bow, he wont be able to hit them at lower levels either since no accuracy.

I'm judging you regardless, but then again that's just because I'm a judgemental sort of person and I honestly have to sort of giggle at your expense.

Because the above answers are right: you're not at a level high enough to one-shot the heads and thus they are disappearing before you kill them. This is kind of why you do actually need to do some quests at those levels instead of just trying to buy all your EXP. Nice waste of money on your part though.

Ok, considering you guys are both such a low lvl make sure you have friend's that can come in and actually KILL the heads. Cause they will give great exp, yes, but they have 100 HP.

Which at any level below (i'd say) 5x they are IMPOSSIBLE to one-shot. Once you reach 5x and above you should have decent enough dmg that you do have a chance to oneshot them with skills. It really isn't till you reach ~75 ish that you can just one-hit them with a normal attack.

I know this since I bought full solo frost runs for this character until it was lvl 80 (at which point I switched to group frosting, and continued that until basically my current level because it was quick and easy with the type of groups I ran with). The guy actually didn't realize the head's had 100 HP (he thought they only had 10), so he ended up having to come back in to kill the heads off for me since my dmg was so pitiful that it even made me laugh.

But even at lvl 28 you wouldn't be able to one-shot the heads. But I would suggest getting Earthquake on your genie, since they only have 100 HP you should be able to do enough dmg with that skill that you can kill a single target and then since Earthquake is a AoE and knock back skill it should knock back and kill the mobs surrounding that head.
Nothing worthwhile to mention here, enjoy the animated signature~

another tip about fc heads.... when u next buy them notice the exp to spirit ratio.... think the ratio is around 20 to 1 ...n other words sumthing like 20k exp 1k sprit.... all other ways to lv give closer to 5 to 1 ratio 100k exp 20k spirit.... look at your bh rewards for exact amounts but the ratio is correct i beleive (if any1 else does alt fc pls notice the exp an spirit u get from killing heads an post it pls....as i've realized its fail an quit using fc to lv alts)

wats this mean?......if your an arcane class an purely lv off fc heads all of your skills an attks will lack considerably an wont b at the same lv's as others who actualy played the game

really cant believe no1 else has realized this.... i did after i hypered an alt bm for aoe grinding .... the 2nd bm ive made... i didnt lv all the skills i did on my 1st bm an the skills i did lv still werent as well lv'd as they were on the 1st bm....

conclusion.... dont lv mage classes n alt fc unless u dont mind your skills an dmg to lack an fall behind others CONSIDERABLY ..... EXPECIALLY clerics..... a lv 9x cleric with only enough spirit to max a few of their skillsb b:shocked lv5 ih ftw?
