that 1 person: but the squad controls when you buff
bambi: how so, when im the one in power of when i want to use it?
that 1 person: squad majority, now buff me
bambi: yeah.. we will see how long squad majority rule lasts

A 98 veno is in squad , she is the last into the cave and says she is on her way as we start to clear, by the time we get to trioc shes not here still(which is fast cuz it was me the tabber and a 100 veno)

Then she dies.
So she starts whining about dying, shes 98, shouldnt be getting lost here let alone dying

So I have to go back and clear the path to where she is absentmindedly standing after having respawned and come back into the instance.

I literally had to escort her up to trioc, and she was the slowest squad member, even being a veno, due to her not using summer sprint.

I wonder how someone so fail managed to get to 98.



Also love when I'm helping noobs with their bh 39, and at farren I tell them that all they have to do is stand way back and hug the wall, I show them where to go ffs

LITERALLY all they have to do is stand there and NOT die. The place is clear there are no runners they just have to stand there,

And yet I go to kill farren, takes me a few short seconds, within that time farren gets only 1 aoe off before he is dead....it never fails that one noob will follow me and die despite the fact that standing by the wall with their hands in their noses was all they had to do to not die.

my facepalm moment was 2 weeks ago i was in a FC with my archer and the squad fills up after buffs and we all get to the first boss

Barb: hey ure tanking this right i c your aps
me: uhh dude ure a tank and my aps is at (2.86 sparked) so no perma spark + im squishy...
Barb: u have aps i wont hold aggro...
me: uhh dude its called dding with control i dont just go nutts with my fists
Barb:i feel safer with u tanking...
me:uh wth? archer tank = safer than barb tank?

in the end i tanked and we finished it quickly but still i facepalmed pretty hard lol and with the barb buff i was only at 5.5k hp his buff wasnt maxed >.<

One of the latest facepalm moment i had was in DELTA BH stage2...

So we have this squad, formed by 4/6 of members of one of the most (in)famous faction on sanctuary. I thought that would be a smooth run since they proposed to do SPAWN POINT killing, so i think this squad is exped.

Well, we start and everything goes fine. I dont remember which was the wave that the problem started but i was coming back to the squad and BM runs in and stun and HF outside the range of BB, so i go to help him while the rest of the squad stand still. Bottom line i die, cuz my invoke and genie was in CD since i just had lured. I thought, well that BM should act less stupid and wait to me to be back as always, but i also blamed myself for not pulling back to BB range after his intromission.

At this point i come back to group in time before the next wave spawns and we kill it smoothly. So im asking the cler to drop BB at 1st boss to rebuff me since im just luring with my own buffs. The boss spawns and we cleared the mobs but the cler is still in BB. So i ask her again and she drops BB to buff me. While i was asking for buffs, the rest of the squad (psychic and BM expecially) continued to attack the boss ignoring my warning to let me and cleric be ready again. So we ended up with the boss killed while cler was still unprepared and me not in luring point.

Wave 2-1 pops out and kill the cler who just set up BB, so the rest of the team dies except me who is keeping them busy. At this point i proposde to stay at normal place since all the squad is at start and i couldnt last longer alone over there (keep in mind i always did delta uncharmed). They accept, so i die and come back to meet with the rest of the squad.

Now i send a duel invitation to the PSY since i have no chi, after like 4 tries and me explaining that in delta, like in warsong the duel gives you chi without getting damage, he accept. But that idiot starts running away and dont stand still until i manage to shout at him and im able to get 2 sparks. The wave is incoming, and he start shouting at me that im noob since we will have to fight this wave in duel. I ignore him since i know that to lure i will gain enough distance to make it fade. But since im pissed of the situation i at least try to let him know that i know what im doing. Needless to say he doesnt listen and still call me noob. So i explain at him the HE is the noob, for not knowing anything about delta, and im FAR more exped than him in RB since im doing these instances since 75.

He cant stand to be called noob cuz he is on one of the biggest TW faction, so he leave squad and guess what ? HE TRIES TO KILL ME IN THE INSTANCE lol

I totally ignore him coming at me and i just go back to squad and continue my job.

At this point he must have whined so bad that his faction mamber decided to kick me from the BH.

Im at 1k and i get the clerics pm which is both laughing and crying for this unbelivable situation, saying that they are gonna fail without me in any case.


So i wait for em to fail, and in the mean time i made my own squad from faction/FL and did a smooth stage5 chrono for my friend...



What i get out of this story (not that i didnt know it already, but i had never experience it) is that money and a big TW faction doenst automatically make you a good player.

I facepalm in about 65-70% of all squads I join.

There's a lot of archers/sins out there that like having their almighty aps, but lack the foresight to increase their p.def above 2k. That usually results in stolen aggro, and dead squishies (if they don't control themselves).

I also facepalm when I have to carry the weight of someone else. Like a 10x cleric, with lvl 70/80 gear.

I did a PV run on my noob barb yesterday that made me want to scream. here is how the conversation basically went:

Cleric: Let the sin do the pulls barb.

Me: Why?

Cleric: He's higher level and you died once already.

Me: I lagged out and my keyboard was unresponsive, nevermind the fact that I have twice as much HP as he does.

Cleric: Just let the sin do the pulls.

Me: Fine

BM whispers me laughing and we spend the majority of the run BS'ing in whispers dogging the hell out of the cleric and sin, who by the way, both died.

Cleric: Why'd you let us die barb?

Me: You said to let the sin do the pulls, which means making sure that everything is agro'd before coming to blue ball. It's not my fault if you died, it's his.

Cleric: It's ok, you're only 65, we were all noob once; I'll teach you how to be a good barb.

LOL I'd say that since you got 4 of 5 in the squad, majority ruled.

I loved the time at Polearm, cleric and his barb friend are certain that he's tanking because he's Dex and will DD more. Never mind that his gear sucks, his weap was a level 70 TT axe, and that I have easily 2k more HP. So he fires off fleshream (of which I later found out he didn't have maxed), and off he goes tanking Pole. Cleric just sits there casting squad heal. No Ironheart stack, no purify, just squad heal. Needless to say, I had aggro in about 20 seconds and in 30 the squad was dead. I charm tanked it. Every time the other barb got rezzed, he'd go cast roar to get aggro, even though he only had half the HP and no buffs. LOL. In the end, they kicked me from squad and called me fail when the boss had like 50k HP left. Lucky for me, I had tanked it, I had done most of the damage, so I got credit and they didn't.

Gnip - Raging Tide

I would have to say it was on a FC with a cleric. I was on my alt wiz.
I'll just make a list too long to type in sentences

1. No Holy Path
2. Less then 3k hp
3. Gets lost after killing self, about every 15 minutes (No kidding)
4. No MP pots (yes a cleric with no mp pots or mp charm)
5. Tried to BB every mob group
6. Dueled at every bishop group to gain chi
7. Pulled bishops on 2nd boss
8. Would not come close for Bishop boss, even after 2 squad wipes

My goodness I think I'll stop. didnt want to build a wall

Instead of facepalms, more like assaulting my desk and keyboard with my head.
