O.o what happend to Venos

i see rarely some venos lately. every big TW faction is filled with BMs, Sins and Clerics but Venos are missing..

Anyone else expiriences the same? like... how many Venos do you have in your faction compared to other classes...not discussing why they are gone...just wondering where they all poofed

We had three lvl 81 veno's in our BH group the other day but I think many veno's have transformed to mystics and many other classes have transformed to SIN's

Well, a lot of people have rerolled Assassins and made them their main characters. Venomancers used to be the most powerful class (they could solo most of the game especially if they had a Hercules and were great money makers while in TWs they were a hard opponent due to the Phoenix) but now the most powerful class is the Assassins (or any 5.0 class for the matter).

Clerics are the only class that cannot be replaced under any circumstance. Yes, Mystic can often take their place and we shall not underestimate their healing powers, however, there is only so much a Mystic can do.

It does make me feel sad since Venomancer is my favourite class but I can't say that I was happy when it was the most hated class either. It doesn't bother me if people don't play on them as much as they used to but it gets annoying when you end up no being able to join squads because they want better DDs. Since all of the Venomancer debuffs can be done by other class (but they don't understand that the Venomancer debbuffs are superior and were they to be combined with the ones of the other classes, they would deal insane damage but in the era of 5.0 it doesn't make a difference I guess.)

Personally, I have been rejected from a few squads (mainly after level 97) but I mostly play with the people I know or make my own squads now. That works well.

Plenty of venos where I'm at. I see a decent number one the other side when fighting in TW. Damn those cata barbs hate me LOL.

I still see alot of veno's on DW, but I have to admit abit less then 4 months ago.

As beeing a veno myself I dont think this is a bad thing cause mostly ppl want only 1 veno in a squad, and there are already 8 chars which makes it impossible atm to get the perfect combined squad, so less venos=more opportunity's for the ones that stay loyal to their veno.

I also think ppl will appreciate veno's more when there are less, cause the ones that just play it easy and dont really try to get the most out of the char will have switched I think to another class.

Many venofriends I knew switched to the mystic cause they got bored of saving for a herc or just gor bored of the char.
Anyways, there is a nice variety now in classes and chars what makes ppl choose more according to their goals I think.

But still... Veno's FTW! b:chuckle

People used to complain that veno are a female only class. With mystics out, it's only natural that a lot of people would switch.

i dont read any thread about asking how many Venos are in your faction. Read the OP post before asuming things.

I do agree with that.

As for answering to the OP, my faction only has my close friends and our alts so I can't really answer there. We have four Venomancers which are mine, my alt HA Venomancer (retired though), my soulmate's Venomancer and my best friend's Venomancer.

The time I had started playing all of my friends had Venomancer mains. We always squaded together....LOL yes we were constantly a six Venomancer squad 'till they started quiting the game in 2009.
