Has this server become lazy?

I've been leveling alts recently, and I've noticed that players don't even try anymore.

BH51: They leave as soon as they get their boss done. Particularly clerics and barbs.
BH59: Most either wine or leave as well.

I'm just lucky I can solo 29 and 39 easily. I hate to think what's happened to BH69 by now. I'm pretty sure a lot of these people are alts too, so the same goes to the high levels. Maybe if you don't have the time for this game, you shouldn't be playing it?

    People will do what they want. Generally, that also means what is most convenient for them. Sorry if you happened to run BHs with lots of inconsiderate people, but complaining about it solves nothing =/

    Try running with friends or faction members, if possible. If not, then get used to it cause it's only worse in the real world.

    People do have time to play the game. However, they do not have time to waste in helping the rest of the people that are playing the game, or that are in the very same squad they are in, to finish what they need.

    People do have time to level their characters not being disturbed from anyone else. However, people don't have time to realize that this game is made for fun and to, if possible, to socialize.

    People do have time to swim in millions of coins. However, people do not have time to feel the pleasure of hearing the phrase "Thank you" by a low level player who joined recently and needed help with his cultivation or with a mini-boss.

    At least most of the people do not. I`m really happy to know a bunch of people that are always ready to help me and with which I`m having a lot of fun when online. So, a big thank you to those people for actually staying "people" and not being obsessed with reaching end-game and being gods while soloing WBs and pretending how great their gear is :)

    Leaving in the middle of BH51 is as dumb as ****. Leaving in the middle of any instance is as dumb as ****. I don't care if you need only the first boss or the last one, you have joined the squad, you are taking the place of someone who might need the all bosses, so you will sit on your *** and leave the instance when everyone is done.

    Wining in BH59 is something usual now. Most of the people are refusing to use their heads in order to survive all the evil mobs around, and trust me, they really are evil because only a few of them can cause a squad wipe because of the group aggro.

    Most of the high levels tend to solo the instances for their alts. I don't blame them, sometimes I dont want to squad with douchebags myself.

    Oh well ...

    That's because you're a selfish idiot. If you don't have a lot of time, then don't join a run that requires time to do. Go play something else or just chat with your friends. Stop trying to waste other people's time.

    The way I read it was that different people have different ideas of how to play the game and generally, thats precisely what they do.

    Trying to impose your or indeed my method of playing the game would be counterproductive.

    I do have some sympathy to what you're saying. I dislike it when people skip out mid run because they achieved what they wanted but I don't let it overly bother me either.

    Generally in my experience if the squad sets out the plan for a particular run and they are all in agreement, they stick to it.

    PS - I helped on Grim's cleric alt's FB39. He went nekkid and molested my poor assassin. Someone spank him! b:laugh

    Don't perceive to know me based on what you assume to be true and with no evidence to support your assertion. I have helped many people do many things, frequently without any benefit to me, when I played this game. So please, focus on facts and actually read what I said instead of making an ad hominem attack on my argument. The poster above me understood what I said; it's unfortunate that you did not.

    People alt FC to level 90 now, nobody does BH anymore anymore
    Everyone has 90+ main now too.

    Man.. zhenning and questing with friends was SOOOOO much better than living in FC... if you go back to those same questing areas there's nobody there... b:sad

    That's so true... Nowadays is all like "get the sin, get the bm. Are they 5aps? Ok. let's go. 1,2 and done"

    Actually you can find one of my alts doing one army quests in some place near 1k (i'm still new in that zone, so i don't memorized the name), but I must be the only one.

    Nowadays, from lvl 30 to 60, you use crazy stone, from 60-80 you can do Public Quests, and at lvl 80 you get to do bh69 somehow normally.

    I can't see myself finding a squad for bh up to lvl 70. Sometimes i even see some bh59 getting a squad, but not much more...

    The thing is that, as a cleric or archer, i can be very helpfull. i even ofered myself to tank bh39 (on my 85 archer), but they said that they wanted someone in their range... And that squad didn't even got the tanker that they needed..
    Other times i just go my cleric to help in bh59 and they all even get mad at me because i'm trying to keep everyone alive. The dilemma of being called as fail cleric for dying because he took aggro trying to keep everyone alive (yeah, cause tanker don't admit that they don't know how to tank, or just use aoe) or for thinking only in himself....

    I don't believe that DW server is lazy... I believe that it does exist a common sense of staying away from random squads because nowadays good faction-less players just don't exist...
    And even at some factions we can't even feel that we are between a "family" (As it happened to me for not getting help in my fb69 pillars when i was on Kindrid, that's right, Kindrid)

    This is pretty ignorant statement, imo.

    The first person who is a great player and come on top of my mind is Chillum. Next is a cleric I didn't know until I ran BH59 with - Izykiel. He also seems to be a great player. Maybe exactly avoiding random squads makes you think so. There are many great players out there.

    This is from a new player. I am level 27 right, all by myself, you dont find help in the faction and you dont get help from anyone ingame. All high levels spend the time embraced in themselves and dont have time for the lowbies. I have joined 3 factions no help, no interest from high players to help, no questions about if you need help, no interest in helping. I am moving out of my 3 faction to see if I can find one that really cares on helping someomne, I am not looking for handouts, just looking for some help here and there. So far the only thing you get in faction chats is "so and so is ***, dont bother with me I am ***, I love to do this because I am ***, in 3 different factions every single comment had to do with *** this and *** that WTF cares if you are *** or not, I am jut playing the game for some fun and once in a while a little bit of help or tip in how to deal with some bosses. I get tired of the **** that goes on.

    I'm not ignorant, the fact is that good faction-less players almost don't exist (in fact this 77 cleric doesn't belong to any factio and never will.. lol(but i'm not a good player either..))

    3 factions that doesn't help is really bad luck.
    Because there are real helpfull factions in DW server.
    You just took the wrong ones until now...
    And you can't just spam for help. People also like to do things on their own sometimes. If you already now that, then just ignore the sentence before.. :)

    When I was in bh59 range, I rarely did it unless I had all bosses in my quest log. When I join a squad, I ask if all are stacked, that way it can be wined and all can be out as soon as possible. Time is money, I do not want to spend 2 hours in an instance that can be done in half the time. Especially when it's already like 2am my time.

    I rarely did bh51 because well...no one else did. And even when I did get a squad for it, something always went wrong. Like 2 barbs fighting over aggro (and one wasn't even fit to tank out of a paper bag), or a cleric that was bossy beyond reason. Or sins who love their aps so much that they go squish on Wyvern even though there's a barb in squad.

    I won't drop a squad if I don't have anything else to kill in a bh. Half the time, I only have like one boss in 79, but I come along for the ride anyways. ****, if I'm paying wine fee for it, might as well do the whole damn thing.

    And I second the remark about Chillum. For the 2 years I've played, he's never been in a faction, and he's one of the most helpful guys I've ever run into on this server. Don't ever change, Chill. b:victory

    is it just me, or does it seem that NO ONE does TT? I mean I never see a WC for TT, and when I ask in faction.... nothing. I've only maybe done about 2 runs on this server.

    Not just you, people have found ways around doing TT runs, like just buying the mats. I think I've done probably 3 on this character. If I didn't have 2 high level mains already, I probably wouldn't have known what the inside of certain TT's look like!

    It's not just you. Almost no one is running TTs .... I still have like 8 TT quests hanging for around 4 months already. The trick is to gather a group of friends and run with them. Usually the random squads suck ( Yes, I`ve never ever said that random squads are bad, but ... ) because everyone is QQing about the matts and in the end you just ragequit because of the stupidity of some people.

    Saying that, yesterday I was forced to buy my TT90 boots because it's been months spent in looking for TT squad ... b:surrender

    yes i remember great failures of people coming to random squads
    especially when i was lvl89 on wizard (i guess fist-BMs still sucked back then?)
    farming the last parts of my precious full tt90 armor set
    it was like looking for people for ages and getting utter failures

    a lvl89 barb who wasnt able to hold aggro to a lvl89 Wizard in TT2-2 on bosses

    a cleric who wouldnt bring mana pots for a 2 hour TT run and sit down and meditate while wearing full gold gear and boasting around bout her many high lvl chars
    -raged for days in wc for the squad kick :o


    well that was the past, when people actually needed TT gear, when mats actually sold high,
    when veno was the best DD class - that was the last time i did random TT, besides BH3-3




    why does nobody do tt?

    1cause the market for easy-to-get-mats (those YOU can farm; maybe) supply is higher than demand
    a single lvl100 5.0 char does a 2hour run for a full old squad in a few minutes
    given they have OP armory, or take a single cleric to help

    2you could probaby go grind normal mobs for 1 hour and be able to buy the mats you get from a frustrating 3 hour run several times; and who said you have to grind alone?

    3the mats of higher value are extremely hard to get, Lol @TT 3-1 3-3 with **** gear

    4lots of made gear around,
    or BETTER gear, sometimes even cheaper,
    is there any lvl60 armor better than rank-stuff?
    why get a tt99 weapon? it sucks compared to rank8 (base weapon damage)
    even g15 nirvana is worse until its +10 (there, its better)
    i like potato
