    Everything has its beginnings, but it doesn't start at one. It starts long before that... The world is born From zero. The moment zero becomes one is the moment the world springs to life. One becomes 2. 2 becomes 10. 10 becomes 100. taking it all back to one solves nothing. so long as zero remains... One.. Will eventually grow to 100 again.

    I remember back when Gold was ~140k and I was buying about 150 Gold per day for a week during one sale. That's how I got started as a cash-shop merchant.

    As for when it was 400k, sheesh, I'd buy 200 Gold, buy 200 Anniversary Packs, set-up selling, "Packs 500k" and they'd be gone in a couple of hours, so I'd have to buy more Gold.

    it seems that whenever something is added to boutique, gold prices get screwed up...so why can't PW just limit the coin price of gold to like...200k????? it would make the csers angry cuz they wouldn't make so much money but it would make the rest of the community happy.

    but ofc, PW wouldn't care cuz then maybe ppl would buy less gold and there would be less profit.

    Anyways, I remember when I was doing zhenning on my wizard, I spent at most 800k on charms (hp and mp--gold--400k each), and I was able to get a new mp charm fairly quickly. 800k doesn't even cover a bronze. More than anything, I feel bad for the newbies coming into the game. They hear awesome stuff about the game, and then they realize that it's too expensive to keep up unless you are a cash shopper (or very lucky). I'm a casual CS'er (I don't put 100's in the game at once, something like 10-20 dollars every couple of weeks if I'm lucky--I have pressing rl matters that refrains me from doing even that now), and I'm feeling the heat even though I have a slight advantage over those who don't cash shop at all. The curse of the caster. x.x

    A gold cap would be awesome. But it ain't gonna happen, let's face it. Especially since they know that people will eat up packs, dragon orbs, and rank sales like no tomorrow.

    No, it wasn't 100k. It was 400k. It dipped down into the 300's, but I never once saw gold for 100k. >_>

    I recall it being that on Sanctuary when I started, which was around May 09.

    tell me about it, just trying to get some decent weapon for my level sucks, the prices are so high that is difficult for new players to finish a lot of quests, just teleporting costs an arm and a leg, 300 coins to go from one city to another and sometimes you have to teleport 20 times that is a lot of money for new players, yesterday at the end of the day I had less than 5000 coins left. And whats up with the freaking refugee tent city in Archosaur (trading stalls) you cant barely walk to reach the NPCS because of the huge amount of sellers in the way and these in their majority are players who are not playing the game because you can see the same people day in and day out sitting there.
