Hey everyone just wondered whats a good server to start on when i finish the download
i used to play ~removed~ but its gotten slightly boring now i have 3 capped characters :)
and i heard this was good and lost alot of friends to this game :(
if any of you remember my cleric KinkyChris from ~removed~ add my skype Kinkster12

    Despite the bad rep it gets on the forums, Archosaur is a great server. The community on it is fairly small compared to the other servers, so sometimes its hard to find squads for certain instances, but for the more common ones it is pretty easy to. It has many good factions, a lot of kind players (as well as our fair share of *******s). Admittedly, PvP in the open world is almost extinct, partially due to the fact it is a PvE server, and also due to the small population. However, it's small population also allows a bit more familiarity with people. A lot of the people you meet during in squad you will party up with many times over even in random squads, so it is easy to know their abilities as a player, as well as their attitude. Based on what I have heard on the forums, it is also one of the few servers where zhen grinding (AoE grinding in a squad) is still fairly popular.

    It is a good server, and it has its problems like all the others, but one advantage for you in particular is that it is the "newest" server. Because of this, it will be the easiest for you to find yourself adequately equipped compared to the rest of the players should you not choose to use the cash shop.

    sweet yeah that sounds cool ^_^ and sadly im a massive cash shop addict lol hopefully i dont spend as much on ~removed~ as i will on here ^_^

    I hated ~removed~ for their time limited items. In PWI, you can get premanent costumes (fashion) and mounts. :P

    yeh i used to buy like the defence suit then buy all the other bundles to get 1 piece from each set like the 7% crit angel helmet had to buy the angel set for that then banshees demises and the others just to get the max crit rate from costumes lol then when special costumes come out like valentines had to buy loads of them lol

    but yeh thats good the fact there permanament and same for the mounts we all hated buying rations to feed the pets lol

    But on-topic... First you got to pick what you prefer: PvP or PvE server (note: you can't do pvp on either before lvl 30, and you can turn on/off "PK-mode" on PvE server after you get to 30)

    If you choose PvP, this are your choices:

    East coast:
    - Harshlands

    West coast:
    - Lost City

    If you choose PvE, this are your choices:

    East coast:
    - Dreamweaver
    - Raging Tide

    West coast:
    - Sanctuary
    - Heaven's Tear
    - Archosaur

    I advice you pick between east and west coast (USA), the closest to where you live at, to get a better connection and less lag. Lag is probably the strongest boss in this game (no, I didn't mean that as in "theres so much lag!" but as in, if you do get it, you can be killed even by the weakest monsters in game).b:shocked

    Depends on your internet and computer. I'm from Europe and I don't lag at all. b:pleased

    well im at home in england at the momment just for my birthday but going back to usa next week i work out in usa but i have a 50mb connection so i shouldnt have a problem just started the download properly 30 mins ago its on 49% at the momment

    and honestly i like to hit the highest level then pvp non stop like on ~removed~ took me 2 months to cap pvp is good fun i gotta say ^_^ whats the most populated server aswell

    You should play on a PVE server, PVP is optional there, but you can enter PK mode if you want. On a PVP server, you might lose your expensive items unless they are bound and people might kill you while you're trying to lvl. :o

    Sanctuary, Heaven's Tear and Lost City are the most populated.

    hmmm yeh maybe i shouldnt do pvp server i'd go crazy if i lost my gear lol and i like the sounds of optional pk whats enhancing gear like do you have to buy cash shop items to increase your chances like u did on ~removed~ and is it as bad as ~removed~ spending 100$ to + 10 1 weapon ?

    right so you pay cash shop or ingame money to bind gear to yourself so you dont loose it in pvp but when ur grinding do you loose inventory items or just items your wearing and money ?

    Just don't worry about refining till like... 60... maybe even higher XD

    To get the trick youl have to talk to people in the crafting forum here but you can refine high with not much money if you play with your chances correctly. Or you can pay out the *** but gaurentee your refines. Refining isnt really important til higher levels (90+) But up til that point you might drop a few moneyz (Damn poundsign...) on some lower refines just to smooth the ride (+5ing 80 weapon for instance).

    In PVP you drop dependant on your name colour. If your name is varying shades of red youl drop more and more equipment.

    IF you have a guardian scroll, itl be destroyed but youl lose nothing, if you bind your gear youl never drop the bound pieces but never ever be able to re-sell them.

    Safetylock is the cheap route, osmeone else can explain. Basically its free but has annoying penalties to its use. (Cant sell, buy, trade etc with it on, and you cant disable it, only wait for it to time out.).

    Refining will depend on your luck really, or how much you want to spend for guaranteed refines. You can fairly easily get to +2-3 without any aids, +5-6 with aids, and then the rest (up to +12) with dragon orbs which are 100% refines.

    However, I never even bother refining anything until 70+ unless it is legendary equipment (made from molds) or is something I plan to keep until much later. Even then, it is worthless to refine beyond +2 until 90+. 1-80 is easy leveling, and 80-90 you can do pretty quickly depending on how many runs in FC you do and how well you use your hypers (increases exp/sp gain by up to 12x).

    dang theres alot more to this game than ~removed~ lol i think to understand anymore of this i need to be ingame ^_^ but i think ive made my mind up i think ill go pvp server

    Hard cap is 105 here, but the cap for most is 102. After that the EXP needed is so horrendous and you dont get much for it (5 extra points per level), that people dont bother.

    Be aware that if you choose assassin you will be eternally hated. b:avoid

    i donna whats the server lacking in mainly clerics fighters mages
    i mean i was a amazing cleric most said i was best on server but im not sure
    and fighters and mages well the more cash shop u have the better u are simple lol
