About Genie skills on new races

I don't know if this has been said before, but the new earthguard and the tideborn don't have any class related genie skills...

It would be nice if I could use for example "reflective aura" on a seeker, which can only be used by BM and Barb atm. Or just making some new skills for them would be nice.

Is there anything planned for the future?

    Maybe I'm too optimistic, but I think we may get some eventually. On the 2nd page of the genies skill tree, there are some empty skill slots.

    Bump to this.

    Seekers need a good move to cancel/absorb incoming magic from mobs.

    Give them the right to use True emptyness or something.. Against non-bosses, earthquake is not a good alternative.. (Pushes them back away so they can recast, how cool...)

    Earthguards both have moves that require a lot of mp (Probably meant to make us cash shop for mp charms) But a earthguard exclusive skill to give 5% chance per level to cast next move at 1/2 mp cost woudn't seem too OP to me.. And I do mean to cast the move, not hold it like Vortex..

    As for the fishies..Already said to be pretty OP. No specific stun genie moves for them plz, no hp regens. If they are to have specific moves, make them damage ones, but nothing too outrageous Since it's their habitat, maybe even some "Only usable in water" ones...
    Proud supporter of the new expansion. Sure it has it's share of bugs, like any games. But for a pure farmer/grinder, that's a whole lot of new mobs to go beat up b:chuckle

    Rofl. I refuse water based skills as a fish. D; I mean how often do you need to actually fight anything in the water. :c
    <- Would be a sad fishy if we get a genie skill that's only usable in water. Id have more use for one that's only usable in the air.
    Aint talking about PvP based skill.


    Or give the fishies a skill we can only use on mobs (maybe ones that are not in instances idk), but can't use on players? Would seem fair? For psycs a skill that gives us some protection from mele based attacks for a few seconds. (Other then having to use psyc will and waist that 1 spark).

    But we do have "stupid" moves like "only usable in air, triple damage to groud targets" (or opposite, not sure)

    Absolutly fine with that !!

    For psycs a skill that gives us some protection from mele based attacks for a few seconds. (Other then having to use psyc will and waist that 1 spark).



    How about a "Remove a buff from yourself to gain 1 (or maybe 1.5) second of physical immunity per buff removed in that way ?

    That'll be your next Genie skill. And even if you have 40k Mirages, it will still say 'need moar mirages, faild!' when you try using it. D:<

    Removing a buff would be more useful for demon psycs, since if you are sage your BoL removes negative buffs when used. o-o' So not sure about that one, would be helpful for anyone under level 89, but not so much for sage based psycs.

    As well as i know that actually a good portion (for some unknown reason) have genie skills only usable in the air/water....some of the best ones for clerics last i remember was a water based skill. No one really pks in water, or kills things in water for a long time period seems a waste.



    Best way to go is probably making skills for sins/psycs on the genie that are only mob based, maybe ones that we can't even use in instances. Just to make sure were not over oped. Would be useful for DQ farming. b:victory

    Use genie skill, get a dice, roll it :

    6 - Skill is used succesfully
    5 - Skill passes, but increase cooldown for next try by 1 minute
    4 - Nothing happens, no stamina wated either though
    3 - Nothing happens, stamina is still used
    2 - Bad luck, nothing happens, stamina still used and get random bad effect (poison etc..)
    1 - Critical miss, nothing, stamina loss and 100k credited from ur char/bank, if u don't have it, all next mobs give u 0 coins till "debt" is paid up
