b:surrenderyeah i was just wondering if it was able to be pull off. i wanted to try a class that could solo but after finding out you don't get good drops/coins from soloing bosses and caves( correct me if this is wrongb:shocked) so yeah i decided to go for my other love damage. And i was wondering since seekers naturally have high HP and a good phy def if i could go light armor in order to get more mag def and crit damage and just add HP shards later in game.
i got this idea when i read on another thread that a seeker went with a pure 5str and 5dex build and still could tank and had like 6k HP and hit like a truck n kinda wanted to see if i could do something similar with LA so you guys think it could be done??(don't really care about tanking and i know some might tell me roll bm or something but i really like seekers play style so nob:dirty)

You are already stats for wearing it (IE high dex) If its better m-def you are searching for, try mixing it a bit, or even invest in some switchout gears...namely with adorns, and wrist/feet..
So that when you plan to tank (if you do) somthing that will hit for more physical, can click an switch to pure HA... (I do this even with adorns), and when you feel as tho you will attack more magic based attempts, switch the feet/wrist, and neck/belt for m-def0 -
I would personally not go full light armor, but using light wrists and boots and magic ornaments to raise magic resistance would be fine. Just remember, Adrenal Numbness will reduce magic damage by quite a bit as it is. However, it is generally agreed light armor is the worst of the three types, because it has pretty horrid resistances for both in comparison to the other two.
If you want it when tanking magic mobs/bosses, sure, go ahead. Doing it on physical mobs though is just asking for trouble.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
Didn't get the rest of it, but apparently I am the "destroyer of sin haters" as well.0 -
hmm that sounds good il take your advice and and get both HA and LA. Thank allot for the helpb:victory0

Going LA is waste, worst resistances stats, worse refinning power than HA when you can easily wear it naturally and with the 30 defense levels is already enough to resist some magic stuff.
You'll still get 1-2shoot by a R9 nuker since you got less HP cause of wearing LA refines. You won't get more crit with LA since you need like 150 for a lvl 100 sword and you only need 104 for nirvana pants for example, unless you planning to put more dex than str so you can hit like a little girl with few % more crit..
Also vit puts up your magic def as giving more survavility.
LA was made for sins and archers the ones that get their dmg from dexterity, not for tanks. Your seeker will suck on LA, imo0 -

To be fair, it will give some extra defense to prevent being a 1 shot, assuming the other person just barely does. Is it a good idea against arcanes? Sure, if you know you are going to be fighting just them. Is it good for zhen grinding at PQ pits? Yep, you take less damage and it will allow you to survive easier. Is it good for use on a boss you aren't tanking, but does a magic AoE? Yes it is.
There are situations where light armor is better than HA. Sure, not if you have refined your HA, but to be honest, the levels you would be using LA are the lower levels, and refining armor before level 60 (with the exception of legendary gear) is pretty much a waste.
If this person's Seeker were level 1-69, sure, go for wearing full light armor when it is smart to do so. After 70+, keep HA only, and use wrists/boots if you feel the need or desire to. Hell, I'd rather have the level 60 legendary LA wrists than the HA ones, for the extra -.05 int. I certainly would not go out of my way for those wrists though, way too expensive.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

let me just share some of my def with u.
my ea has better gear then my seeker. however the def does not reflect on that bcos la armor is fail beyond *****.
ea 102 7.6k hp 7kpdef 6.8mdef [ep buffed]
seeker 101 8.3k hp 11kpdef 9.2kmdef [ep buff] + 37def lv
i use full mdef shards on my seeker no hp shard at all. the comparison is a ****** joke on la armor.0
