need some help with launcher

so not a big deal but was wondering how i could fix my launcher. i can get on the game fine and everything but when i hit my launcher this lil downloading bar always pops up, does like a 10 sec download of some sort...and my launcher is still set to rising tide some how instead of the genesis like my bf has. any suggestions of how to fix this??

    If your client still says Rising Tide, the launcher must be trying to update itself. Your client should say Genesis. I suggest either manually downloading the patches to update, or uninstall your current client and download a fresh one from the download page.

    Updating your game to the most current version should fix your issue.
