Do I get my coins even while I am dc'ed?

Today I got disconnected from the server while I was asleep. When I reconnected and checked my inventory I noticed the garnet gem and one savant stone were missing. I suppose they sold. Unfortunately, I don't remember how many coins I had before disconnecting, so this made me wonder if I actually got coins for selling those items.

I am just wondering if anyone knows for sure if you get your coins for selling an item even if you are disconnected from the server.

To my knowlege, you can't sell anything while D/C'ed, what most likely happened was that you sold the items before you D/C'ed, in this case you have nothing to worry about, you should get all the money you sold the item for.
