Raging Tide PvP: faction+practice?

(I wonder if I should have posted this in the General Section...oh well...)

So here's the story.

Im a lvl70~71 cleric that really wants to participate in PvP and TW as soon as I am considered "ready". I have been in PvP tournaments before in other mmorpgs, with other classes. I gotta say, it chills my bones with excitement!

HOWEVER, its been years, and lately I have been having this huge phobia of any type of PvP. I have turned into this peaceful, mother-like teddybear that enjoys rainbows and sunshine. I have gotten too soft...
So far I have never had a SINGLE duel in PWI (yeah, go ahead, put that giant star-sticker on my forehead with the word NOOB on it b:surrender ). I am rather desperate for practice, but my friend list is limited, and my faction is well...not the kind you would want for practice b:shutup . And I cannot simply go up to a random person, ask them for a duel, lose, and then be hysterically laughed at for simply practicing.

But honestly though. I might seem like a severe scaredy-cat with zero potential, but I am willing to learn given the opportunity


So please, any Raging Tide users: give me your wisdom. Help me practice. Or even better, help me find a good PvP faction! b:thanks

    A serious TW faction won`t let you join al least not untill you become lvl 90+, even 95+ some. Anything under that lvl is almost a one shot on TW. Unless they wanna let you join to be the designated base buffer b:chuckle

    Dueling is a good start. Also you could go to Dragon temple on tuesdays and do some safe PvP against other players. No gear drops and no exp loss there. Also you don't need to stay white named for a 10 hours as PK on world map.

    Same as Lierre, you can pm me ingame and we can do some duels and/or give you some tips about how to deal with PvP.

    Yes I am aware of the fact that I would make a nice little chew toy in TW. What I mean is that I am PLANNING on joining when I reach a stable level.
    However, if I cant PvP Ill be as good as a level 50 in there b:surrender

    btw, thank you guys! I hope later on I can get practice in PvP with other classes like Barb, etc b:shutup

    Dn't be afriad to go the dueling/pvp hotspots to practise. Their opinions, if they're negative ,don't mean ****. This is a game afterall. If you want to have fun pvping and want to become good, then meet new people and practise. As simple as that.

    Like Gol_D_Chad said, "Don't be afriad". Just get yourself out there start dueling/pk, yeah you might fail/lose whatever but you'll learn from your mistakes and of course always set your SL (Saftey lock) before switching into pk mode.
