K, as I understand, this is the "math" forum, so, lemme ask a math related question.

It's my understanding that lvl effect is (lvl+atklvl)/(tgtlvl+tgtdeflvl)=dmg%

It's also my understanding that ? boss level effect = player level with pk nerf, is that correct or is the ? boss level calculated through some other method?

    My understanding differs from yours:

My understanding is that any monster with level [?] is level 150.

Also, I use http://www.pwdatabase.com/pwi/drop to determine effects of differing levels in player vs. monster attacks. (For [?] bosses this does work out to the same reduction that we get in PvP, which was roughly what you were saying.)

For attack and defense levels, I use http://pwi-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=698392

And, also, attacker level matters when determining how effective defenses will be. I forget where I first saw this but I always use damage reduction = defense / ( defense + 40 * level) where "defense" is whichever defense is relevant (physical, wood, whatever) and "level" is the attacker's level.

Finally, "reduced physical damage taken" is independent of damage reduction (you multiply the percentage damage delivered factors). In other words if you have 60% damage reduction for physical attacks and 10% reduce physical damage taken you would take 40% * 90% = 36% of the raw damage.

Ok, so, in that case, the Seeker defense level debuffs apply as if you were adding attack levels to the entire squad rather than lowering the mobs effective considered level vs the attacker. And the higher the attack level of the attacker, the lower percentage effect the seeker debuffs have on the attack?

So like attacker attack level 0/mob reduced 10= 10% increased damage for the attacker where as attacker attack level 30/mob reduced 10=7.7% increased damage for the attacker.

So, in that case Seeker def level debuffs become less effective as attack level of party increases.
