DQ for TT

I think this has been suggested before, but it would probably be a necro.
Now, I know that it isn't exactly part of the "DQ nerf compensation" thing or w/e but then again neither is chest of coins.
But we should totally get DQ points for NPCing TT mats.
I've been farming 3-3 a bit for the few days, and I looked in my little cupboard to see what I had.
Like 40 Giant Beast's Crimson horns, 30 Monarch's Wills, 25 Sacred mother's hearts, and 15 Evil Minion's Burning hearts. I also had a fair amount of Illusion Springs and Ghost Lord Dark Aura's.
Of all those, the only ones with any value are Illusion springs and Ghost Lord's Dark auras. They are the only mats that meet the criteria of being both: A.) Actually useful and B.) The boss is hard to kill (for non OP squds :P) the rest are just garbage.
So lets do it frankie, let's get DQ points for TT mats.

I like it. I have many useless TT mats in my several banks. Would be nice to clear 'em out, and actually get something of value in return.0

chest of coins: 4.5mil for a hammer = 1 mil in coins = USELESS
TT mats can be sold, even for lower amounts, and you'll profit = useful to someoneI'm a guy, not a woman, that is all

You can put most 3-3 mats (all but illusion springs + ghost lord dark aura + golds) In the AH at 5k each every day for 2 weeks and they still wont get sold.
Just the other day I was setting up cat shop on my alt and I realized I had finally hit 200 Sorceress's auras. So I put them in my cat shop at 1k each.
I sold 2.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

No.
What, what and what is the only important factor.
Cheap and useless mats are still cheap and useless mats no matter where, when or how long you try to sell them. Period. Some people risk to employ me
Some people live to destroy me
Either way they die0 -

The only mats that are worthwhile (for greens at least) are ones that drop from bosses that are hard to kill, and are ingredients in commonly made items.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

While we are at it, can we get dq points for white 1 star gear drops too? Same with pots, I can just get better ones from divine contracts for free. They're useless and no one buys them.
We might as well get dq points for everything except nirvana drops and garnet/citrine shards. None of the rest are of any value./quit.

100 Cleric
100 BM
96 Sin

How about the reverse, dq points to get good TT matts instead of chips and coins!!! 150k for a gold horse how about 50k dq for a Giant beast foot print or maybe add them to event gold section.0

Now, the problem with DQ points for NPCing TT mats is kinda simple...
Roll a Sin.
Level to 60.
Go into TT1-1, stealth, farm the chests for free TT mats.
NPC them.
Have a catshop send you a squad invite.
Go back into TT, and do it again.
Right there, you have a free, endless supply of Dragon Points.
Otherwise, I would agree with you, and say, make worthless mats worth something.
As for using DQ Points to buy TT mats... I'd be all for that! Would be easy to turn your DQ points back into money, by making gear and selling it. Might have a wee bit of a negative impact on the TT market. But... That market is getting a bit out of hand anyway.101 Sage Sin*/Archer
100 Demon BM*/Barb
96 Demon Cleric/Sage Seeker
95 Demon Wiz/
94 Sage Veno
85 Psy/80 Mystic
And a handful of other alts, all 79 and under.

Turning DQ points back into money is why they wouldn't bother with doing this. The idea of the DQ points seems to be so that you can get some things for free but not turn a profit on them. At least, that's how i see it.
Not too fond of the original idea of TT for DQ pts either... The game is already too easy... >_> And before someone tries to flame me for being 85 saying that this is an alt b:victory0 -

I'm pretty sure Rawrgh meant mats that drop from bosses only, not things you would get out of chests.
As for the idea, I'd only support doing it depending on how many DQ points each was worth. If it were too much, it would probably drive up the price of mats as they would become worth more to NPC rather than sell to players. Considering the Devs solutions to solving our current inflation problems, it would not surprise me if this was indeed the case.
However, getting TT mats for DQ points is, personally, out of the question to me. Then you would have people farming TT mats by grinding for DQ. It would be easier and more of a profit as you would essentially be getting them for free while turning a profit from selling the DQ's. Gold mats, sure, if they are extremely high priced.
Edit: and I was ninjaed by Rawrgh saying what I was going to.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
Didn't get the rest of it, but apparently I am the "destroyer of sin haters" as well.0 -
I'm actually in agreement with Rawrgh on something O.o
To cover so that it's not so extreme though might I suggest this:
TT 3-1: 3 points
TT 3-2: 6 points
TT 3-3: 9 points
That way they're not overly usable (they ARE junk after all) but you get more than the 100 coin for just NPC'ing them
*thinks about my TT bank* thats like 3200 points right off the bat i thinkThere's more to making a judging than everything being in black and white. The decision making process is a puddle of grays.
