Training without Item Mall

So I'm a level 42 cleric my only character and I recently started playing again. I have never trained any of my skills like blacksmith and whatever and wondered if im too high level to start training with out item mall help. I think some threads and things are only dropped by low levels but im not sure. Is it possible to train any skills without the item mall?

Quite possible indeed, although it is significantly easier if you begin to level up your crafting skills from the beginning.

If you are having trouble getting some of the much lower level items to drop from mob kills, Fuzzy suggests having a look in the starter cities such as Lost or Plume etc. More often than not you will be able to locate a catshop with the items you are seeking for a small handful of coins.
