Now, now, dont yell at me for being cheap b:cry
http://pwcalc.com/671231fa208db4ac

I have about 1.5mil in my bank with my needed skills either maxed or close to being maxed. PVE or healing parties isn't a problem.

I did my research here and there, looked through the auction house, went to the database, payed close attention to the world chart in search for good lvl 70+ armor and weapon.
Right now I'm thinking of getting the Acalanatha Wand ( TT70), since it seems to be affordable. Same with The Sleeves of the Captain.
However, after looking at the other armor pieces, like Dark Pants of Hades, I became quite depressed...

With a limited budget and prices so high, what should I do? Should I consider grinding up money on drops and such? Or is there some affordable armor set that everybody buys?
(btw I read the TT70 armor is ****?...)

Thanks b:bye

TT 70 for Arcane isn't worth while, as there's a ton of decent alternatives.

Look on the AH for some decent all resist 3 start armours. Would also reccoment some Average Cirtines and Garnets to be added to the armour.

Also, the TT 70 Grief's Breath is cheaper than the Wand (if you don't mind loosing the 60 sword) and is fairly decent on it's own.

TT70 AA isnt that good, only pieces id get is rly the boots since theres no 70+ mold boots.
as for wep, just mail me and i can send u a spare tt70 wand i have in mail i made while lvling my blacksmith few months back and couldnt get rid of (since alt alrdy had one b:surrender) altho thats still only a temp wep till lv80 where u cant use the wand for later wep unless you make the TT80 gold wand but is decent enough to use while farming one of the other TT70 weps.

chest piece well, if u have 5k rep u can use rank 4 chest up till 77 then can grab the Steppenwolf Lord's Cape mold chest which is farmable from an extra boss inside fb79.
i rly suggest that u try to find a cheap phys def belt, as since you are wearing arcane armor u dont rly need that much more mag def

No worries, many people lack a wallet bursting with money. Plus, for the most part in the early levels you can just go with whatever quest rewards you get or drops too.

For weapons, You have some options:

    ☆Acalanatha Wand
    ☆Grief's Breath
    ☆Ashura's Sign
    ☆Sakyamuni's Light

The biggest issue to consider here is what you are shooting for endgame. If you are going for a TT weapon such as the TT99 gold glaive (☆Fate Denial: Godspeed), then try to choose a weapon that you need in the chain to work up to that weapon. If you are going for a Rank 8/9 weapon or even a lunar weapon then it might be cheaper to use mold weapons along the way. You said you can get the TT70 wand cheaply. If you cannot or have not decided which path to take then either the TT70 wand or the level 70 mold sword are great choices that leave your options open.

For armor, the level 77 top and sleeves with the level 70 bottom are great choices that can last you until you get TT90 or other 90+ gear. For an even tighter budget, some ☆☆☆ gear with pdef and/or HP adds works great though it might a few days of scouring the AH or catshops for gear that really appeals to you.

One option you might consider especially now with the 2x drop event is to get or make some subs and do some TT runs for mats especially with friends or factionmates. Runs take more time than buying gear outright, but allow you to get your gear cheaper.

For necklaces and belts, I would suggest focusing mostly on pdef ones. Those are some good ring choices that can last you for a long time especially as you keep upgrading the attendance ring.

Here are a couple sample characters with gears for you to consider. These are just to give you a feel for things. Feel free to mix and match to your liking, style, etc..

I know it can be daunting with all the choices at first, but give it some time and thought and it will be come together.

How ironic...5 minutes before I checked back on the forum I went and bought the wand for 460k...FML b:sad but thank you very much! I guess I'll learn the hard way b:beatup (btw is 460k a rip off is it?...the other prices were 1.5mil+, and i like having lots of damage...)

    violetvalor:

I'm still a bit indecisive. The 3*** choice seems nice and I saw the prices here and there, and they seem affordable.
I didn't have time to look at the Legendary choice prices, but I see that the level requirement is quite brutal...
How much do you think, on average, would I spend on the legendary armor? And also, even if I WAS swimming around in cash on a daily basis, would it be a wise choice for me to stick with my current (crappy) armor until lvl77 in order to buy the set? And will that seriously last me until lvl85~90?

btw, if I were to get TT90 gear, would I need to have TT80 and TT70 before that? D:

In advance, sorry for the amount of questions b:surrender ...

90 green armor don't need TT80 or TT70, which is a large part of why many people just skip TT armors completely pre-90. The weapons, on the other hand, will need the TT80 souledges.

Sorry! I am unsure about prices for you since I play on Harshlands while you play on Raging Tide. Also prices can vary depending on the number of sockets available, the shards already placed, and how much it is refined.

You may be able to keep using that gear until you get an updated item especially if you have a good weapon and squads where you take little damage but mostly just heal.

Yes, the gear will last you until you get your TT90 set. Also, if need be, in the meanwhile you can get 3* gear from the AH until 77 too. =)

You will only need previous TT armor if you plan on making gold armor pieces. The gold pieces bind upon equipping and so cannot be resold and since you will out level it, it is not really worth it. So stick with the green TT armor until your TT99 pieces for which you need the TT90 green armor anyway.

No worries about the questions. I had my fair share at your level too. =)

    Yes, thank you:)
I currently managed to buy the mold pants at a nice price, and some ok-ish genesis robe to last me until lvl77 for the mold robe :) Ill try finding the ornaments later...

btw, a bit of a stupid question, is it wise to BUY the ornaments? Or is it better to get a high lvl to craft it for you? o.o

Also, I know many people recommend Sleeves of Sea Captain? And the boots, since Im unable to find the 70 mold ones (and if I do, I don't think the price will be nice), should I consider hunting for some TT70 ones D: ?

the 77 sleeves are extremely great as they add -6% channeling which most ppl end up using till they make either TT90 gold sleeves or wait till TT99 Archangel's Sleeves

for boots, um yea the highest lv arcane boots is lv59 apart from the lv95 boots, the TT70 isnt that good but then again its not horrible either

Probably better to buy especially for the 1/2/3 star ones. For TT ornaments, if you can get squads, then it is cheaper to get the mats and find someone to craft them.

Yes, the Sleeves of Sea Captain are great! They can be used until you get the TT90 sleeves or if you really like the -chan, then until you get your TT99 sleeves.

For boots, you can try for the TT70 ones or a cheaper and still very effective option are some Boots of the Cosmos or Genesis Boots, preferably three star ones. Though my cleric is using the 59 mold ones until I can get the TT90 boots.

The TT90 sleeves I'd suggest. You can turn them into TT99 Gold, which is endgame until you go R9 or something like that.
    101 Sage Sin*/Archer
    100 Demon BM*/Barb
    96 Demon Cleric/Sage Seeker
    95 Demon Wiz/
    94 Sage Veno
    85 Psy/80 Mystic
And a handful of other alts, all 79 and under.
