In Regards to Duke Black and his Pack spam

I'm sure it's been brought up before, but why stop when you're on the right track? You reduced pack spam text from showing everything to just ToBLs (which imo is dumb too).

Want to show off what people are getting? Great! But limit it to at least things that are earned in a "legit" manner (no I'm not bashing cash shoppers, if that's how you choose to spend your money then so be it). I don't see somebody getting lucky by opening a pack to be a real achievement worthy of spamming my chat log with red text every few minutes or so (more often right after a pack sale is released).

Somebody just finished grinding Trophy mode in a dungeon for a robe, awesome! Show it off, it took some effort and they should be given a small bit of recognition. That veno who's been saving up their SoF and PF for a Herc/Nix just got their last few they needed and traded in for their pet? That's worthy of a bit of red spam as well imo. But we don't need to see every time somebody gets a pack item.

tl;dr : Either remove Duke spam all together or limit it to real achievements only (i.e. don't show us every single ToBL won or any pack items for that matter)

    I agree, seeing so much red chat spam while we're trying to squad makes or filling up my guild chat just...pisses me off.

    If the dev team had the smarts, they could put Duke on his OWN channel filter which could be turned off by the majority of the player base. I still want to see when someone gets married, or when someone gets their legendary pet, but I want to strangle Duke every time I see "______ just received Token of Best Luck." 5 or 6 times in a row XD

    at this point i've come to the conclusion that it's done on perpose as a means of saying: "ha haaaa look this player got this awsome item from a pack and you didn't! spend your money and you an get one too!"


    i would think that it's a simple matter to shut duke up. yet it takes them forever to move it or better yet, make sure they duke never talks to begin with.
