Help me improve my wizard

Spell_Caster - Raging Tide

Hello guys,

I would like your expert opinion on my wiz built, skills. One thing is sure, there are always smarter people than you, the thing is just to find them and that's what i wanna do.

Let me present the situation:

My wiz is R9 now... Demon wizard


Weap: R9+12+2 Iceborn gems
Full R9 set, 2 pieces are with Jades, 2 pieces are with DOTs(did not have money for jades anymore).
3 pieces of r9 are +10, one is +8

My necklace is a +10 Cube neck
Rings: R9+R8 ring
Belt-R9 one

Headgear: Warsoul+10 4 sock with 1 garnet gem and 3 vit stones

Tome: +20Magic+1 crit

Wing trophy cape +10 with 2 garnet gems+2cit gems - the one with pdef stats.

Now...I ask you what improvements can I bring to my wizzy...

1. Should I try gathering money for Scroll of Tome and get +45Magic tome? I would loose crit but gain more dmg


2. Should I Shard everything with Jades? I have now 102 att. lvl and 42 def.lvl If i put jades in head, pants and gloves, I'd have 24 more def lvl but loose 8 att.lvl and some HP. If i buy the cloudcharger cape+10 that and add jades, i'd have 74 def lvl overall.



3. Now, for skills I did not get the lvl 100 skills cause they seemed waste of coins. I am at the point where I'd get them...but 5min CD...i dont know what to say...



4. For refining...I was thinking of +12 my necklace in the future but that would take alot of money and time. Should I +11 the gears too? The HP bonus is kinda bad for arcane gears....


5. I got a 3.2/6.2 max fly should I go for a 3.3-6.3 one...It seems to me a unnecessary cost but...still not decided.

I merchanted alot for these gears and charging more that 50-100$ a month would not be an option for me so that's why I ask you guys cause every step I'd take would imply lots of farming and time to get it.

Nice gear b:dirty. I have also full Rank9 set. What I would recommend you if you want to farm or spend the coin get a Nirvana helmet. You get pdef and crit on it, so you gain 1% crit and get the pdef stat so you won't need a garnet gem in your helmet. I would go Jade of Def on your Nirvana helmet. I know some ppl say the refinement is the same. I chose the helmet not for the refinement but for the stats. Also remember your Rank9 gear is made for crit not for channeling. So I understand why you would seek the -3%. But trust me the more crit the better.

Also now for the lvl100 skills. Manifest Virtue yes it might be pretty but its not the greatest skill and you can get way higher attack dmg if you spark. But elemental invocation is a killer. Especially in TW. It not only inflicts earth dmg but it causes mana and chi drain upon each hit. And not each hit of yours but each hit the person gets in TW. Especially if you put it on a cata barb its a killer. You might think not. But I got the skill and it had a massive impact on the barbs, they couldn't invoke because their chi was gone even when they hit white tea they still couldn't invoke as the chi drain would hit in that moment as well. Venos have a similar skill too, but their drain is only half as strong and it only lasts for I think 15 seconds where as the wizard skill last 30 seconds.

I have seen in the beginning the barbs didn't know what hit them, after that their clerics tried to purify it immediately. So my team her their cleric killed. If the skill wasn't so bad the cleric would have not tried to purify it immediately. And I saw the barbs always drop like a stone as soon as their apoth ran out as they couldn't invoke. So I would never call this skill useless or a waste of money

On the HP Bonus its actually pretty big from +10 to +12 a jump for almost 500hp more on each gear. That's alot. If you would refine all your armor to +12 you could definitely take out all vit stones and replace them with steady def shards.

Your attack lvls are great now make sure your genie has frenzy on it and you can attack with 122 attack lvls.

But great gear Enjoy the one shots with the +12 weapon I know it's sexy b:victory

Ok im confussed, your pwcalc doesn't match up to what gear you say you have... maybe you posted wrong calc? Just trying to understand the situation here

I'd be interested to know about the tome choice as well. Seeing as how vit is pretty crappy unless it comes in large amounts, wouldn't it be better to go with the +45 Mag Tome? If any of ya can speak on this I would love to hear opinions.

Reshard jades, get g16 cube neck, refine everything +12 and you're set. Also go +12 full a psy and use it to buff you and gl trying to die in pk.

For wizard channelling do help if you are lacking them,

for a 5 sec channel spell it only takes of 0.05 so i am doubting that will help when OP has like -12% channel and demon already.

So I will go with +45 mag unless somehow you are a perfectionist in reaching max channel, which then.. you will using another ring, belt and neck
