Game wont load/crashes?

I re-installed perfect world today and since installing it the game just wont load.
It goes to the normal screen with the updates/news etc - the game patched fine, but when I pressed the start button a window popped up (well, the screen flash black in a window - so I assume it was the client), then it closed leaving the normal screen up - however the start button is now greyed out.

I tried restarting my PC, still doesn't work, and I tried the element client (without the normal start screen) and I still have the same issue - a breif black flash on my screen then nothing. No game. Nada. Nothing.

Any help? =/

EDIT: Dont know if it is releated, but in the installation I asked it to create a desktop icon/shortcut and it did not...

    Hey there, this is happening to me too. It's been happening to me since early March, which was the launch of Genesis. (That's like almost 2 months or something?)

    I can't believe I still can't get in. :/ Let me know if you find a fix, and I'll let you know if I find one too.

    I'm trying this method I found while browsing for answers: http://pwi-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=1041741

    See if this works for you. :c I sure hope it works...

    EDIT: Nevermind, it didn't work for me. :/ I decided to take a peek at the PWI files, and looked into the element client log file and found this:

    Element client log file
    Created(or opened) on 18/04/2011 23:44:41

    [23:44:42.944] <!> Fullscreen resolution[1920x1200] is not supported. Engine will chose one proper resolution

    [23:44:42.944] <!> Chose displaymode [1600x1200]

    [23:44:43.397] <!> Build version 2305

    [23:44:44.760] <!> CECGame::InitA3DEngine: Failed to call function. (line: 1296)

    [23:44:44.760] <!> CECGame::Init: Failed to call function. (line: 355)

    [23:44:44.760] <!> wWinMain: Failed to call function. (line: 862)

    [23:44:44.832] <!> glb_HandleException is called.

    I see a lot of "fail" in here, so that can't be good. Does this mean anything??? I hope the staff can see this. :/ Also, sorry for using your thread to address this...
