New Armor type/instance

Ok, so, TT's been the primary armoring instance since the game's inception, and later on Lunar creates a viable alternative before continuing on to nirvana and/or rank gear, all of these have one thing in common, the armor is based on defenses and the refining affects hp.
With the last two expansions, there's actually three locations that are obviously designed to have instances implemented in them. Why not implement one of these instances as a parallel to TT/Lunar but with a different armoring basis: Defense level.
Simply put, the armors have an inherent defense level that increases with each stage of development, whether it's heavy, light, or arcane, all defense levels are equal between the three types, all with non defense level adds, obviously, vit, magic, str, dex, etc. A further difference to these would be the refining would be what's defensive based, Heavy gets the most pdef from refining and 1/3 the pdef in mdef from refines, Light gets 2x2/3 refine of the heavy's pdef meaning both pdef and mdef refine equally, and Arcane gets a 1/3 pdef refine with a 1x mdef refine. NONE of the refining is directly hp.
This instance would be farmed in the same way as TT obviously with multiple levels of armor, 55, 70, 85, 100 perhaps and would have potential to more greatly vary the playing field with mixing and matching of the new instances armor and TT/Lunar/etc armor.
