Level 24 Veno, I want to go with the light armor build, so it's in the middle or robes and heavy.. But i read Vit and Dex wrong..
Vit-26
Mag-72
Str-27
Dex-16
Would it be bad if i left the vit as it is and built Dex up to the right level?

To be LA veno you have to sacrifice all your Vit to add on Str, and Dex. This need some refines and citrines to balance the low vit. Most of the LA venos switch to AA on lv90, included myself, because the Physical def has not such great difference between a AA gear sharded. Remind that you need your magical points for better heals and attacks.
This is the Str, dex you will need on high levels to give you an idea.
TT90 LA -> Str 94, Dex 94
TT99 LA -> Stre 103, Dex 103
Vana LA -> Str 104, Dex 104[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Argh, Ive messed things up bigtime, but what should I do to get the best out my veno? I dont have any gold to get the scroll to switch points around, but should i continue with the light robe way? or just go arcane?0

I would suggest AA. As said above there is not much of a difference in p def between AA and LA. If you go LA you won't be able to put any points in vit tho vit isn't really important at high levels and high refines on gear. Also if you go LA you will lack MP, MP regen, Mag attack which will lead to low pet heals which will lead to pet dying then you dying and so on...0

So i should focus putting it all in mag? To build that higher from losing the points?0

Yea and you should also put some points in str every once in a while in order to be able to wear your gear the maximum you will need I think was 52 if I remember right. But that is the req for high level gears. For now I suggest you focus on mag.0

This is arguable, as the ideal VIT build is 3 VIT, 1 STR, and 6MAG for every two lvls, while the LA build is 2 STR, 2 DEX, and 6 MAG every two lvls.
This means the Mana, Mana Regen and MATK should all be virtually the same in either build. I recently switched from AA to LA when I hit 70, and I saw NO DIFFERENCE in those three stats, due to the fact that I didn't have to add or remove a single point of MAG. And I have no problem keeping my Gnome Saboteur alive against the majority of mobs.
Now, if you plan to go pure magic AA build (9 MAG 1 STR every two lvls) then yes, the Mana, Regen and MATK will be much higher. Of course, that build is extremely bleh due to the squishiness, and pets will not always be able to save your ***. Also, Physical AoE's will be a problem, and as Amplify Damage and Purge require getting within AoE range, the extra survivability of VIT AA or LA build can make quite the difference.
Honestly, it comes down to personal preference though. Endgame, VIT AA and LA builds will have little difference in effectiveness. AA will have a little less survivability, but better HP, and better MDEF. On the other hand, LA build will have less MDEF, while having a little more survivability, especially against physical AoE's, better accuracy/evasion, and a higher critical rate.
Also, keep in mind that LA build gets enough MAG to equip Arcane armor as well for situations where higher MDEF is preferred.0 -
Squishyness can be survived with high refines and shards later in game. I have few points in vit and I will prolly restat to pure mag soon. At lower lvls for example in BH69/TT/etc I had no trouble with aoe when I was running to amp. And aoe can always be avoided if you wait for boss to aoe then amp and run back. I myself am not a fan of LA 'cuz I myself was LA it's just my personal opinion and I don't really like it unless I go aps with it. But it will be really up to her she is 24 and that is why i suggested AA 'cus for me it's the ideal build at lower lvls.0

Yeah, I went AA VIT build until I hit 70, and up until about 65ish, I relied mostly on spells from afar while my pet did its best to hold aggro, so AA seems to work better IMO at lower lvls. But now I seem to be stealing aggro left and right, even with only 3 MAG per lvl, and so the LA build works better for me now. I rarely come out of fox form now except to use Helping Hand, Metabolic Boost/Nature's Grace, or throw in Scarabs against mobs weak to wood/fire/water. Of course, being a veno means having an interesting variety of builds to choose from.0
