young wizard here, anyone have any favorite skills?

i know a lot of people recommend leaving will of the phoenix at a low level, but i kind of like it.
will of the phoenix is a good combo of quick casting and knock back, perfect for kiting. together with gush i used it to solo the tideborn traitor. any skill that lets me do that is ok in my book.

    Maximized Will of the Phoenix has better damage per second than other spells.

    Gush - Pyrogram combo can't be interrupted in most cases.

    When mob or boss iterrupt Gush or Pyrogram, you loose less time than after interruption of D.Pyrogram, Sandstorm or other spells with same(long) channeling time.

    There are many of tips yet.

    P.S.
    Tideborn traitor can be killed by Gush (without any other spells).

    so what you're telling me is that Gush is your favorite skill as a wizard ^^

    and that you also soloed the tide born traitor with only that skill

    Nothing beats a good BIDS. b:dirty Not sure which one is my favorite though. Either sage BIDS or sage BT (I'd like sage BT more if it actually worked for me b:angry ). Think I'm gonna go with BT though.

    I love BIDS, it's soo coool and hits so hard XD
    But i gotta say that distance shinrk and Fow are just amazing :)

    Sins are Scissors. Psychics are Rocks.
    Archers, Venos, Barbs, Wizards, BMs, Mystics, Seekers are Paper.
    ...and Clerics are Mushrooms.
    Paper beats Rock. Scissors beats Paper. Scissors also happens to beat Rock...until Rock gets 50k+ soulforce at which point Rock becomes an unstoppable killing machine that beats Paper... and would beat Scissors but it can't find Scissors, because Scissors are invisible.
    So Scissors beat Paper and avoids Rock, and that is called BALANCE. -cheze

    If you use it wisely, you'll stunlock for a total of 15 seconds in chain. :D

    There is no reliable way to "stun lock" for 15 seconds as a mage. You could get pretty close with occult -> MS -> wait 3 secs -> occult.. but we only have one reliable stun (MS). And sleep/FoW are not stuns.

    I don't have a favorite skill. I'm a wizard, I use ALL my skills. Even though Sage BIDS comes close ofcourse b:chuckle
    But also Sage Glacial Snare. I think I once one shot someone with it in TW.

    Than there's also sage Stone Barrier, sleep, Sage FoW (it's AoE).
    And Distance Shrink. I soo want the sage version of it

    Demon stone rain

    Blink close and use demon emberstorm

    haha I guess you're right. 2am and I'm thinking only sage >.> Maybe I should change that to no reliable way to stun lock for 15 seconds D: /edited

    Being that my Wizard is only level 76, I obviously have not had the opportunity to try out any sage/demon skills, not to mention the level 79 skills, etc. So far, however, my favorites would have to be, of course, the three ulti's and glacial snare.

    My all time favourite used to be sandstorm....but then i got sage stone rain b:dirty
    Glacial snare would probably take out stone rain though...but its not maxed =(

    Mountain Seize for me. The animation is epic, the damage is pretty good, and the 6second stun rocks my socks.
