    On a slightly related note: Did we ever get compensation for the DDoS attacks as promised now that they've ended?

    And don't say the 2x weekend was compensation, as we were still under attack during that event. The mass e-mail claimed there would be some sort of compensation after all attacks had stopped.

    Perhaps I missed any follow up to this, but haven't heard anything since : \

    We're still missing compensation for the DDos attacks, so why would we get double compensation?

    For the people thinking that I'm lying, Frankie posted in one of the threads a while back that 2x drops we're compensation for that time, but because peeps we're dc'ing non-stop throughout the event, there would be more compensation coming.

    Nothing has came yet.

    All is quiet on the western front...

    Silly archer, I don't "sux stars" without the jones' blessing. I just don't know why I should spend my valuable time soloing instances 30% slower than usual!

    why should people be compensated for something they dont need, and arent required to get?
    is it their fault you go used to something they made available and now, and now isnt available? no, its your fault for becoming dependent on promotional materials. if you get a free sample of laundry detergent in the mail and it runs out, do you sue clorox, and refuse to wash your clothes until you win? get real.

    no 2x drops till august plx b:cute

    p.s. your spending your valuable time farming instances, how valuable could your time possibly be? assuming great drops, a maximum of 10$ an hour. OFC completely owned by PWI as per the TOS.

    As for another "sister game" from the PWE industry beeing hit by same attacks, people did get "some" kind of compensation. A title that their char could have above thier heads "Sebestimated".. Although funny, if it's the kind of compensation coming here, well..won't make anyone happy.

    People knew (well those who read forums) that the servers were under attacks during that weekend more then ever.. Yet, they still went full force into NIrvana and TT, knowing something could happen.

    A compensation of sorts does sound ok though, as it didn't only affect those farming those said dungeons, but also anyone that could work all week and have just the time to play in weekends and coudn't really cause kept dc'ing/having horrible ping...

    Added : As for the Jones Blessings, this is first and foremost a free to play game. Legally speaking devs are allowed to change content/restrict access to some at any time.

    Exemple 1 : They would decide tomorrow, that on all servers, there's no Pup anymore in 1k able to bring us back to Arch forcing us to fly or pay teleport back..Not much we could do about it...

    Exemple 2 : Medals of Glory, people used the "bug" to make a non-tradable DQ obtanable item, tradable. Did they even warn us they would take them out if said actions would continue ? Nope, they just went on and temporarly did.
    Proud supporter of the new expansion. Sure it has it's share of bugs, like any games. But for a pure farmer/grinder, that's a whole lot of new mobs to go beat up b:chuckle

    I don't use Facebook, so I don't even get a blessing! PWI discriminates against non-Facebook users! I demand to be compensated for the 30% of my gameplay experience I've been deprived of, due to this heinous and discriminatory practice!

    My time is very valuable!

    Just the other day, me and my two friends were invited to a party by a gorgeous lady with pink hair. Upon arrival we discovered that it was an evil entity that was reproduced out of the DNA of a better, less-evil entity brought us all there to prove that reproduced versions are significantly better, stronger, faster and more durable than their original counterparts.

    If it wasn't for me and my loyal friends. My good friend B.R from the Ok family, the somewhat annoying, but trustworthy female friend Missy, from the Ty branch (We call her Miss for short). And my best friend, who's been with me through all the rough times. I don't know what I would do without Peek, from the achoo's tribe.
    But yeah, we did after quite some heavy negotiation and inevitable battles save the world from complete and utter destruction. So yes, Ms. Pornstar. My time is valuable!
