Heyo,

My Seeker is currently level 76, through normal ways of playing and so far I'm immensely enjoying the experience. Thought I've found lately proper BHs are hard to find....Im noticing that I've found myself tanking on almost all my BHs....39...51....and now 59. It's not hard and I enjoy finding the limitations of my character. (I've done like 60+ BHs on him).

Pretty soon I guess I'll be 8x and then comes BH 69, so have any of you Seekers tanked pole? I imagine it can be done with some squad cooperation...much like a BM tanking.

Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks :)

If you can hold agro, and you have a cleric who knows how to heal 69, then you are fine.

if you can't hold aggro, then for goodness sakes don't let it spill over on the cleric at very least, you'll still be okay. but if your cleric can't do the job 69 demands, you're FUBAR, and so's the rest of the squad. this i can tell just from tagging along and seeing it done by people who know how; good clerics are worth a lot in 69.

Like its hard to play a cleric in FB 69, only 2 skills needed while playing there...b:sad

    Haha yeah....

Well I was hoping that the method of holding aggro I've been using (Vortex) will apply in my 80s as well.

Just been thinking of some ways I can help the cleric keep me alive aside from a fast purify finger :P

As seeker i use Heart shatter>Soulsever minuet+proc>vortex+genie debuff

if you have a mp charm then you wount run out of mp and will hold aggro without problems..

    Edit -.-

When you get debuffed, bash that Quid pro Quo hotkey...

you'd think so, wouldn't you? and i'll admit i've not personally seen it done wrong, exactly. but i HAVE been reading the "worst BH fails" threads in general discussion, and some of the folks posting there are people i know and trust, so...

(the most interesting 69 run i've been on was technically a fail, if you want to look at it that way. 101 archer wanted to see if she could tank pole using triple spark for a purify, with two venos feeding her sparks to be sure of getting three back before the next debuff. failed on the second debuff due to a mis-timed triple sparking; i came away fairly convinced that it should be doable, but that the archer might want more practice timing the sparking just right, because it seems to be really unforgiving of that. not really a fail though, because it was an acknowledged experiment going in, so everyone knew there might be deaths.)

Did that on a lvl 101 wiz and went ok, tho i admit that i had to use a pot once to remove debuffs
