so ya people told me I should go Barb but I wanna know a little bit about archers,since I like playing light armor classes but dun wanna get trolled by QQ'ers when I roll a sin.normally when playing an archer you are able to kill a monster pretty much before it reaches you.I've been reading the word 'kite' a lot in threads around,so my main questions are

-Do I HAVE to kite as an archer?
-Is making the life grass?(forgot its name,the one which keeps healing you for 10 minutes) expensive/tiring?
-Do I get a good dmg output?

    Sorry idk what kiting is, yet i see all this talking about it ???

    Na i always stood my ground, in fact. i didnt know about it untill porbly lvl 50ish
    and then i still didnt kite

    get your self a good bow, get the right skills. there shouldnt be a need to kite

    Check the archer guides, has all the info

    however PvP is another story

    In PVE i "used" to "Kite" on increased Attack/Life mobs till lvl 60 , Sacrifical just die too fast.

    According to my minimal PVP experience i had to kite a lot especially BMs /Barbs /clerics

    Early on, you'll find yourself kiting a lot. It gets better as time goes on. By 60+ you probably won't have to kite much, if at all.

    You're thinking of Life Powder. And don't worry, it's a piece of cake. Just get Apothecary Skill Lv1, find 15 Nectar and 10 Golden Herb (they grow all over the place in newbie areas), and you can make 5 of them. Chaos Powder (15 Nectar / 10 Salvia Root) is another good choice. And if you make 10 of these types, you can upgrade your Apothecary skill to 2 and make Focus Powder, which does the same thing for your MP that Life Powder does for HP.

    If you have a "pure-dex" build (4dex/1str per level), you should get pretty good damage. IMO you can do decent damage even without such a build, but that's up to your discretion. :)

    With Jone's you have to kite? I swear you can use NPC stuff with Jones and win at PvE
