So i'm STILL disconnecting every 5 ****ing minutes. Ever since the last update I can't last more than 10 minutes in game without disconnecting, and I know I'm not the only one with a problem. So for 2 days I've been unable to do anything with my Safety Lock permanently on, and I'm gonna miss this sale because I can't ****ING DO ANYTHING. & Seriously, darthpanda, if you're gonna try help, don't just give up after what you said didn't work, I'm seriously unimpressed.

    I'm sorry to hear you are having a frustrating time. Please do not hesitate to submit a ticket to Tech Support, so that they may investigate you account more closely. Be sure to include any helpful screenshots and your system's dxdiag.

    Yes i've sent a ticket. There's no point in my taking a screenshot as it would just say 'Disconnected from server, Please log in again' Which doesn't really solve anything.

    i'd say a majority of problems like this are from the router. For whatever reason, routers these days are still so finicky, and rarely work as well as they should. I had this similar problem once and i got a new router, and problem solved. Just dont buy netgear routers.

    I've played the game for 2 years without any problem, then 2 days ago it all turned to ****. Ever since the latest patch.

    Have you tried powering down and restarting your network gear? The break might resolve issues like this. Give it a try and let me know how it goes!

    or try opening CMD and typing (these are 2 seperate commands)

    ipconfig /release
    (wait a few seconds and type)
    ipconfig /renew

    I understand just fine. follow the advice or deal with the problems you are having. All techs will follow a set of steps to find out what the problem is. will you cooperate with that process?

    I'm just making it easier for you to give advice by narrowing down the cause of the problem. Ill say it once more, It's nothing to do with my network, and nothing to do with my router.

    i know what your saying, but just to be posative, have you tried bypassing your router and connecting directly to your modem? this is how i always test if my connection issue is caused by my router. And i only insist on it because even a stupid patch can change something that your router just doesnt handle properly. Connection issues like this are not going to be server side if your the only person being affected in this way. It pretty much has to be something on your network or ISP.

    I'm browsing other pages, streaming video's and things and they are being completely unaffected. The same way there is no problem with connection, (well, there is) but There's no lag, it's just normal playing, to straight up dcing. and i'll give that a go now nemy, thanks for the advice!

    Right it's still happening and it's really pissing me off, i can't do **** as i cant open my SL, all of my accounts banks and invens are full and i'm gonna miss the rep sale, this is just a joke.

    I'm having kind of the same problem lately, where I dc all the time while everything else seems to be fine.

    It started when I get my net cut due to a phone call to my house, then that just totally screws over my net. I DC every 2-3 seconds, or I lag and freeze for 4 minutes and everything fast forwards, then I DC.

    What's also frustrating is that I always have the log in error. It says I'm entering PW, but it takes ages and then it says I dced from server. However, my sister's account is still running on HER computer without a problem. I'd really blame it on the net, but it seems like its more on the fricken server that's causing me a hell of a problem.

    I've been playing for 3 years and this is the first time I've had this kind of experience .__. My net didn't DC, i checked the icon, its just the game.

    I am gonna assume you're on DSL right, seem like you have some bad DSL filters or something in the house without a DSL filer that uses the phone line.

    Ummm I think so, we have fast internet and download speeds but a rather unstable net (sometimes though) and a bandwidth limit of 31GBs a month. I DC a lot when my bandwidth is exceeded too. Its not exceeded atm though.....
