Someone Techy Please Please Help!

I never, ever have problems running this game, and all of a sudden today I've been disconnected 27 times in a row. It's at the point now where I log in, and open up the world and within 3 seconds it dc's me. I thought it could be my internet connection, but everything else (i.e. internet explorer, gsc) runs fine.

Anyone know what could be causing this terrible dc and ping spike (4800 at the worst so far..)

    Try turning off your PC and network for about 5-10 minutes, and unplug them from electricity.

    If you are using a wireless connection, try using a wired one, or move your wireless router so that it is physically higher up, and less objects are between the router and your PC.
    Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

    i've got the same problem! it's nothing to do with the Internet Connection itself, it's something to do with the game!
