Just a reminder for you folks, the "New Arrivals" Video Contest is still ongoing! If you've ever wanted to get into machinima, had a fun idea for a film, or just want to show off your new Earthguard, this is a great opportunity, and a chance to be rewarded for it too!

A note: I'm conducting this contest by [URL="http://pwi-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=985922]player majority vote[/URL] - though other PWE games ESO and HOTK have had their own film contests, the turnout was abysmal. I know PWI can do better, so let's show them how it's done, shall we?

    Okay... honestly? Little distressing that so far there have been zero entries and I'm bumping this up from page 3 on the same day the topic was made. Really makes me question if this thing is even worth it.

    hey nice contest , i would definitely enter if i had time, but i just came back to the game and have too much to sort out ingame to think lots about any kind of script or video's/editing.

    Heh, thanks. Personally I think with all the chaos and QQ around... well, everything (and especially with the multiclient "law" repealed), this would be a welcome diversion for some folks. Games come & go, film lasts forever.

    ...Except on VHS, those tapes only last about 15 years.

    I'm trying to make one b:surrender its just a little awkward as I've just shifted to the other side of the country from a natural disaster zone, have no set accomodation and started in a completely new job. But I'm working on it. b:laughb:victory so we will see how it turns out.

    I've never tried making a video from on screen game content..But I suppose I will do some googling today and see if I can give it a try anyway. Though PW's train wreck of a rescore "contest" got me a bit down on the idea of contests. v-v

    Which is exactly what prompted me to start this one. I know they could've done better, calling it a "video" contest when you weren't even allowed to edit the video was just... sad.
