Why are wraith badges and chips so common?

So it's been quite some time since I've played the game but when I came back, I see people with mass amounts of chips and wraith badges. Is there an easy method to obtain them now? CS?

    DQ items get them for you. I don't know if that's how they're doing it, but makes sense to me.

    ridiculous sales to buy endgame gear for next to nothing, rank 8 is 72 gold when the sale is on. chips are needed to make rank 9 gear, 9999 chips ends up being about 5m coins

    you must've been gone quite a while. if by chips you mean mysterious chips, then they can be obtained from exchanging perfect tokens of luck thru various packs in the boutique. as for wraith badges, there was a sale not too long ago where they sold them in bulk in the boutique.

    Ok I have to admit that I facepalmed when I saw the title of this thread, but since I've read it, I now understand why you've asked that question. PWI got the bright idea of releasing rank 9 gear. At the same time they also decided to let everyone and their mother, good or bad player, be able to buy the badges and chips to be able to obtain said rank 9 gear. They're not a permanent item in the boutique but they do have sales for them occasionally and they just had one of those sales not too long ago. That is why you see so many of them right now.
