Tips and tricks to fighting Sins

Hey hey fellow Mystics! I'm here to start a discussion thread about the most efficient tactics to fighting the immortal gods of pwi, the Sins.

Personally I've found the best combo to fighting them so far is actually the stun, leech, Vital combo.

Which basically entails putting your Chiyu on defensive with his Stun on auto cast. After your pets stun hits I proceed to use Energy leech to bolster my defense and Vital herb right after.
The rest of the fight varies but basically involves Bramble tornado and lots of pew pew with random non chi skills until dead.

This is what I've been currently finding most effective against them.

Got a complaint about my tactic or the steps in which I do it?

Perhaps have your own method of fighting them?

Lets hear it!
Lets open a dialog and discuss some of your preferred pvp tactics against Assassins!

Higher lvl sins can instantly become immune to stuns for 10 secs, so the chiyu is not a guaranteed stun. I think later on the storm mistress will be the ideal pvp pet, not only for its 3 second seal, but also it's fairly high damage. The devil chiyu seems to lose it's usefulness higher lvl 100+ because of bad scaling compared to some other pets imo.

what i found works best is brambling them then if they have the teleport ability stunning them with cragg then summoning listless blossom and lysing it, then once it wears hit him with bramble again and unload all your high dd skills and by the time he gets to you stun should be ready again. do so again and them bramble again if he still isnt dead your doing something wrong.

Depending on how you feel it I'd start with Salvation or Mistress Leech + rapid Growth + Bramble + Thicket + finish it with anything if it's not dead already. Honestly I'd use Salvation Leech first, in case they manage to stun me after the Leech stun immunity wear off. It would give you a chance to survive while you're stunned. As soon as un-stunned, knockback, rapid growth is you feel you have time to cast it without taking risks, thicket, run back and poke it to death while they're frozen.

i think the best way to fight a sin is:
    run away

    lol.

actually ive only been in duels with sins, not real pvp yet, but what i do is storm mistress attack (which hits like a 3rd of their hp lol), bramble tornado, pew pew. before duels always cast falling petals and if they stun me usually storm kills them or i spam break in clouds when im unstunned

I never even thought about the 3 second skill they'll be getting that would probably make Storm mistress a better choice once the skills are released.

The Reason I tend to use Chiyu now is because Salv and Storm Mistress seem to leave you to vulnerable in different areas. If you have Salvation or SM out I believe it lets the sins have a chance to stun lock you before you have a chance to Leech your pets.

Were as the Chiyu stun may not be a 100% chance but you at least have that possibility of catching them without there Stun immune buff. *Which lets face it, many many sins aren't that smart.*
Not to mention the SM buff may help your damage but will give you no survivability while fighting the sin.

But the new sage/demon seal for SM is an awesome idea, it may be the summon of choice when the skills are released.

To be honeest... that "technique" sounds kind of stupid.

If you have enough pdef (you should, I have 10k pdef fully buffed) to survive first stun/strike, you can just pop petals, attempt to seal them with our aoe and kite until you can stum them with chyru or until you can heal / renew petals. Vital herb would be a waste of a spark in my opinion. Might as well just aoe and then try to thicket them.

I agree that this would be a better combo, but alas everything doesn't always fall together so perfectly to use that or survive the stun locking. I'm not saying this is the best by all means, just that I found it more reliable in different situations.

With my pvp experiences so far Ive found the Vital herb with Chiyu leech to be the much safer strategy when things inevitably go wrong.

But! I'm not 100 yet, and have not fought many endgame sins so I suppose most of my tactics may be rather moot until then since a lot of things could change.

Anyone else have any input on their sin tactics? Or perhaps pvp tactics in general?

The only experience I've had with sins on my Mystic is in 1v1 duels... But usually just leech salvation, bramble, and spam NV.

Also... Any of these tactics list fail if the sin knows to open with cut throat >_> Only sin to beat me cut throat so Silence Immunity Apoth or Genie skill is a must have.

Use genie skill Absolute domain , leeching salvation+ rapid+cragglord, knock back , and sin is past. Cragglord does amazing fire dmg to sins + phy dmg as well, so... with 3 sparks, goes easy.

Why I insist on Domain? It gives you extra 4 + 2 sec , and that is more then enough.

Leeching once you start casting cant be interrupted, but if you are in stun state, you cant start casting, that is my point actually. Domain is life saver.

well i have a sin and i always open with headhunt esp when fighting a squishy. so mystic should open with stun also. if u get stunned the sin will also be stunned and ur stun will cooldown faster than the sin's stun so be ready to use it again. then bramble to get some distance and put on falling petals if u dont already have it on. if the sin got half a brain he'll tele up to u or telestun u. but sins are really squishy and they usually dependend on evasion which dont apply to magic attacks so u only really need to hit it like 3~5 times and voila: dead sin. u really gotta be ready for anything though cuz fights can turn out not how u expect.

energy leech says you cant be interrupted for 6 seconds max lvl. does that mean any skill u cast within 6 seconds wont be inturrupted, or just energy leech?

Leech cant be interrupted, other skills can and are ( like thicket- happened to me right after leeching salvation).
