So...I just learned that BIDS (Level 10) deals a f*** ton of damage to BM's and Barbs! (Good job Sir Watson!). My FoW (Force of Will) seal lasts just long enough for me to pull off a:

Suttra>Demon DP>BIDS

This tends to two-hit most things, even if they can run around like a freed prisoner. Nobody can run from the dragon right? I am aware that BM's and Barbs both use some sort of ranged attack that just likes to interrupt our streak of awesome. So I ask:

Is there an easier way to beat 'em w/o a genie, or w/o my freaking charm ticking every duel?

Sleep -> ulti works amazing. With -18% channeling I'm able to get BIDS off before sleep wears off. I don't have enough channeling to get MS off before sleep wears off, but it is REALLY close, and 99.9% of the server lag just enough to where they can't do anything in the fraction of a second where sleep wore off and MS lands. When I do it through, I have my mouse over the ulti, and push my sleep hotkey and my ult as close to the same time as possible so that you have enough time for the ult to land while sleep is still working. It takes a little practice because even though sleep is "instant" the server does lag a little, on my screen it sometimes looks like I started casting the ult before they got slept.. and its kinda just having faith that you hit sleep in time (probably less than a second where it looks funny, but scares me a bit where I wanna cancel the ult or waste a genie skill as they are still running towards me).

I personally think sleep -> ulti is hands down our best way to kill someone in a 1v1 or force them to use their genie.. using that combo when they are low on hp.. like 50-60%.. essentially forces domain or they would die. Depending on who I'm fighting, I sometimes use it right off the bat to force their domain so they can't use their genie for a while, or in other cases I just kite them around until I see them use their genie a couple times and am confident they don't have enough genie energy to save them from it. The only downside is the 2 min cooldown, so I have come up with a few other ways to take people down (not quite as effective imo). I try to avoid sutra -> fow/ele shell/random skill -> ulti, but I have found this to work in some cases. No channel pots also work pretty well, I'm becoming more and more of a fun of undine -> FoW -> sutra -> genie spark -> d.pyro -> pyro -> wotp -> d.pyro -> pyro (usually use fortify just before the seal wears off so they don't stun me). I've also found using pitfall and hailstorm to work every once in a while, the immobilize doesn't always last long enough for the ult to land.. but assuming you have some distance between you and your target.. they probably won't be able to get to you/ interupt you in the time between immobilize ending and the ult landing.

To get off one of our long casting ults, you either need to use a control skill.. or make it so fast they can't react in time.

I do respect the channeling, but the channeling gear I normally find has worse defenses than my regular gears, so I avoid it unless I know I'm not gonna get hit. (Such as PvE)

I also do use your combos when I only have 2 sparks to dispose of, and they're extremely useful in most situations. My genies are always usually unlucky, and I can fit 4-5 skills Max.

    My Pve genie is:

Cloud Eruption, Holy Path, and Extreme Poison

    PvP genie (In progress):

Absolute Domain, Second Wind, The main skill for Discipline genie (Eruption Fist)

    Feel free to comment.

My channeling comes from 2 cv rings and my wrists (which also have pdef + 94 and hp +105) so I'm not really sacrificing much to use them.. just a nice stat. Discipline doesn't come with eruption fist btw.. and you might wanna wait till 10x before you really start looking at a genie. Second wind is great early game, where 800 or 1600 hp actually matters.. but thats really nothing at end game.

I've found tht using hailstorm>glacial snare is a good bm killer. If hailstorm doesnt proc then fow>gs. gs doesnt hit like an ult does, but bms and barbs on harshlands underestimate tht mininuke.
