Is Aqua Cannon worth leveling up?

It is one of the Psychic's most damaging attacks, and has a decent special effect, but only having an 8m range really hurts it.

Do you find yourself using this skill much outside of PvP?

    I rarely use this in pvp also.

    If your asking what Priority you should give it? Low

    Its a great skill that I, personally, use often enough but usually while I'm tanking lower level instances/bosses and sometimes to finish off a group of mobs who have gotten too close.

    You're better off leveling skills like Aqua Impact, Spirit Blast, Glacial Shards, and Sandburst Blast as your main offensive spells before worrying about Aqua Cannon.
    Finding Solutions to many of your problems starts by looking in the mirror and accepting a small measure of responsibility

    Aqua Cannon is a proximity AOE, its main disadvantage. The damage is great, the effects are great... but you need to sneak in a group of people to do it. Unless they're distracted attacking someone else, abuse some sutra or AD to do it or stick with sandburst and glacial shards :P

    I use it a lot. Don't listen to Fizban he got lv11 Red Tide. It's perfect when you're getting ganked by melee classes, i.e BMs Barbs and Sins. Immune yourself and then go aqua cannon, you'll one shot any of them if you crit (provided you got a +10 weap) and you'll severely injure the other ones.

    It's not a priority, but it's great for Frost runs and in certain PvP situations. Get it at lv11 I say.

    Another question:

    Is there a reason that Glacial Shards' radius is so much worse than SBB's? They are supposed to have an identical radii, but so many times when I'm AoEing a group of enemies, SBB will hit more of them than Glacial, despite the fact they haven't moved.

    Anyone else have this problem, or is just me?

    I think the description is wrong. Glacial Shard's aoe is 6 meters wide, while Sandburst Blast's aoe actually is 8 meters wide.

    Oh, seems like Glacial is more like 3 or 4, but Ok.

    I got lvl 11 Glacial shards, Sandburst blast, and Aqua Cannon as well. Just because I have it doesn't mean it isn't bad/have limited uses. I also rarely use Diminished vigor yet it's at level 11.

    Aqua Cannon is pretty incredible in the Public quest, provided a Seeker is taking most of the aggro.

    At Level 1, it was doing about 10k damage to 4-6 enemies, and since it has a short CD, you can spam it a lot. It would absolutely devastating at level 10 or 11 and decent gear.

    Aqua cannon, in rotation with sandburst blast and glacial shards allows you to have continuous aoe damage output every 3 seconds with no chi cost. This rotation will be your staple combo in zhenning situations (the only PvE that's really fun on psy.....).

    The range is short, but if you use your control skills properly it will be the last shot you usually need when soloing. Vector>Sandburst>Crystal>Glacial and if anything is left alive or unfrozen AQUA CANNON!!!!!
    if you get an increased mag resist mob, knock it back with landslide and repeat the control skills (stun>slow>seal) or will/voodoo>SB it and stand there laughing

    @ OP:

    As much as I don't use Aqua Cannon in PvP, I'm going to say, it hurts like a ****. I can easily tick my fiance's charm, and he's level 99 almost. .-. The power of AC is scary....provided you're still alive afterwards.

    Like people said; Psychic Will, THEN cause massive amounts of panic and QQ.

    I like using it in FC runs...it goes.....Boom! and then **** dies and I can stroke my already massive ego.

    (Red Tide is still my favorite.)
    They made fun of me because I wasn't a R8 Psychic...and then came third cast. It's not funny anymore.

    personaly i love aqua cannon for pve, and for pvp, i dont run to the enemy to use it but when im fightin a any meelee class and they get in range, i **** use it, does great damge and knocks/kills and sin in stealth that happens to be around me while i fightin another target ^^
    full 3r9 +11/12 (still using immac shards though) w/o CSing, leveled to 105 spaming pv, yes i have no life =D
